Oddly enough, I remember talking to a former Marine who worked with mortarmen. He said the whole mortar kit, with tube and ammo and other equipment, weighed well over a hundred and thirty pounds. Mortarmen had to lumber to their positions, bent over, hands on their knees, just so the weight wouldn't pull them on their backs. I wonder what they'd think seeing this dude sprinting with a mortar tube as if it were a PVC pipe.
This mission is my favorite mainly because of everything between 1:09 and 2:10. Charging down a hill WW1 style, the battle screams, the gunfire sounds, the sight of a massive city in complete chaos before you. Amazing

I liked BF3 more than BF4. 3 had a slower, heavier feeling to everything that I appreciated. Though 3 is definitely not a military-sim, 4 had a more arcade-ish feeling than 3.

I was left in complete awe watching this!! Always a COD & Ghost Recon (and recently The Division) player, I NEVER played or even considered BF3, but after watching this gameplay, I purchased the game for my XBOX ONE not realizing it was made originally for the 360 and watched this gameplay again! I'm not gonna lie; I was just on the verge of a cold sweat watching this footage! What an incredible game I missed out on back then that I will enjoy now! Sorry I'm late to the party, BF3 fans, but I'm here now! :)

I liked BF3 more than BF4. 3 had a slower, heavier feeling to everything that I appreciated. Though 3 is definitely not a military-sim, 4 had a more arcade-ish feeling than 3.

I love how in one of the only actual military simulations the US did against Iran, they lost.
Iran is mountainous as hell, much like Afghanistan, it would be near impossible to attack and successfully occupy.
Conventional War would just cause problems for everyone, it’s why drones and missile attacks are so common. Easier to do.
Now I ain’t know war games expert, just a dude on the internet.

Battlefield 3 is a very good FPS. The environment, the graphics and lightings look authentic. This game never gets old.

as someone thats living in tehran and havent played bf3, their effort to replicate iran and tehran is really damn good xD specially considering the age of the game.
there is still room to improve tho.
