I was 18 years old in 2000 and in the summer of that year I visited Port Grimaud, we slept in very old mobile homes at Les Prairies de la Mer camping ground, it was a holiday trip for pupils/students and we would drive all the way from Poland by bus. The memories start to fade away as I have very few photos (no digital cameras back then) from this trip. The beach was amazing, I remember a funky foot-bridge at the beach and a small amusement park nearby as well as the trip to Verdun canyon where we sailed on pedalo-boats from a beach at Pont du Galetas. St. Tropez and Monaco - it changed me forever, for the first time in my life I saw places that were all round beautiful and rich unlike my city in Poland - grim and poor.
Sainte-Maxime, Port Grimaud und Sainte Tropez strahlen eine entspannende Ruhe aus ... einfach herrlich. Auch Grimaud im Hinterland (ein paar km) hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Danke für den Beitrag!
