Why does Rockstar made the Daytona version for the Gauntlet and not for the Dukes? I mean the Dukes is primarily based off the Charger/Coronet. This is the only problem I have with this car but it looks cool.

@3213232 1231223 if it had the body of the dukes then yes it could be a superbird or a Daytona, the only difference is the superbird is more curvy and has sharper lines but it's on the challenger chassis not charger or road runner

No it aint you want the fastest brake from the car at top speed so you need top speed and those top speeds may differ from each other but they still need to brake the fastest.

Richard Petty drove the 1970 Plymouth Superbird number 43 and in the move cars he voices The King... because it's his car it would only make sense the reason why he's named The King in cars is because Richard Petty is the King of NASCAR. the Superbird was designed specifically to lure Petty back to Plymouth for the 1970 season. Petty did reasonably well against strong Ford opposition on the NASCAR tracks that year, winning eight races and placing well in many more. I bought that car and have the exact colors and the 36 lively since it's the closest to his 43

Looks like Challenger Daytona is faster than regular Challenger, however the standard has better brakes and slalom stability.
Idk why they used the gauntlet instead of the dukes.
I was also surprised why they chose to turn Challenger into Daytona instead of giving out GTA's Charger Daytona (Dukes Daytoner)
But the standard is slower than the custom Daytona so I think during the brake test the Daytona was going faster therefore stopping later than the challenger.
I can agree with that, unless Cone exactly tested the right speed both of them, so the results would be accurate. Custom is faster, Yes.
@@mateuszpaszkiewicz3831 cause body style. Im sure they'll make an update where you can put the daytona wing on the dukes. I think mostly they just didn't want the dukes to lose the general lee vibe by putting the wing on.
Braketest is stupid, the car that accelerates faster looses the test. The cars have to drive both at 50mph as an example.

I think you just sold me on the Gauntlet Classic custom. Rockstar finally did something right for a change and improved the performance on the custom upgrade.

Rockstar have dobe a mistake because daytona is based od charger not challanger and in game it looks short
andrej pison trademark workarounds more than likely. Not sure how they get away with some of it. The T20 and new Coquette are spitting images of what they are in real life

It's a sin not to put the wing on the classic custom
The Duke was sopposed to be the roadrunner, instead of the dukes beater they could have added the dukes custom and don't wasted recourses on a gauntlet classic custom.
The Dukes is a Charger (2nd/3rd gen) with a GTO grille. The Dukes isn't a Roadrunner in any state you can customize it.
Roadrunner and superbird which you’re thinking of are two totally different cars

D-Phoenix the car you’re thinking of is the Plymouth super bird/ Daytona charger neither are close to the roadrunner they are all very different cars you’re getting them mixed up

It’s actually more based off the Superbird. If you look at the wing option you’ll see it’s really far up on the car. Like the Superbird. The Daytona’s wing however was on the very end of the car.

The dumbest mistake is that Gauntlet Classic Custom was inspired by 1969 Dodge Daytona, which is modded Charger (Beater) not Challenger (Gauntlet).

The custom is very good contender to the hellfire especially in races with a lot of sharp turns
If I'm not mistaken I think the C Custom now holds the title of second fastest muscle car (that isn't an arena vehicle) just behind the gauntlet hellfire

wait for broughy’s testing. It may be faster. The test was condicted in a stunt prop, tends to be slower. Coquette D10 can only reach 125 mph in CONE 11’s testing, while in Broughy’s it can reach 130 mph. Who knows? We might be looking at the fastest raceable muscle car in terms of top speed.

LuigiBro74 ah haha better not to trust the speedo on this occasion. Since the Gauntlet C’s speedo is analog, it won’t be accurate. Digital speedos are accurate by about 1mph, as per Broughy said.
Still, no denying it is a fast car. I definitely feel this being faster then regular Gauntlet Classic. At least the 600k you spend for the upgrade is not just for a nose cone (although knowing me, I probably would’ve bought it either way 😅).
I have both of them because when i bot the classic i love it. Then the costom came and i buy it again and made it costom. Now i have favorite cars.

@@booter3576 nope. It's the Superbird wing. The Daytona wing sits almost at a 90° angle, while the Superbird wing is much more slanted.

Someone needs to compare the Benny's Gauntlet Custom & the Duke's Beater with the Yosemite, Sabre Turbo Custom, Pisswasser Dominator, and Cliché .... so we can have a definitive answer as to where the new Muscle Cars fit into the line up.

Yes. You can buy the Gauntlet Classic from Benny's or San Andreas Super Autos, but you gotta bring it to Benny's to get it Custom-ized.

@@leedscity6881 No. The initial purchase is 615K if you don't have the trade price, and it's 570K to upgrade to the Custom. So you're at 1.185M before performance and customization, which isn't gonna run you more than maybe a million or so. So call it maybe 2.5M MAX if you get the most expensive everything.

I don't get why rockstar made it so that all the vehicles appear to be slower like on speedometers And stuff like before all this like in story mode it says you can go 250 mph in the adder and it really feels like you can . But it doesn't feel the same way in online and it really only feels like you're going 100 and supposedly you're just going 100
I'm kinda starting to hate on the gauntlet to be honest, 3 version of the same car are "fine" I guess but 4 it's kinda getting ripetitive
There is actually 5 the Gauntlet, Redwood Gauntlet, Gauntlet Classic, Gauntlet Hellfire, and Gauntlet Classic Custom. Imo if they have this type of thing with other cars it would seem cool to have different versions of the same car because even though their based on the same car doesn't mean they are different.

Brake test was done wrong, g.c.c accelerates faster than regular g.c.
Gauntlet classic gets long time to get his top speed and that means you need a longer distance for him to do brake test correctly.
Im not trying to be toxic or anything like that, but this is just how i think.
Get cars to maximum speed and then hit the brakes or show speedometer on brake test to see which ride slows down faster.

i use my gauntlet classic Custom to drag race
I made it into a road runner and went with a cherry red and a flat hood and the big spoiler with the whitr livery and interior to make it look like a high class classic muscle car
I kinda wish they would have a upgrade for a Daytona on the dukes, I mean it would make sense, dukes is a 69 charger and the actual daytona is a modified 69 charger, so just saying

@@rickroasted no it doesn't. It's a GTO front, not a Superbee. If you want a Superbee, just get the Gauntlet Classic, and you're able to make a '69. But to claim the Dukes has a Superbee front is just the biggest reach I've seen.

hmmm well idk about that top speed on the gauntlet custom tho.. did some testing with my buddy and stuff. he used a zentorno and i used the gauntlet custom. in a straight line, smoked his ass. on the highway, the speedometer shows that the gauntlet pushes 130 and 150 with bumps. (dunno how accurate the speedometer is) but either way the gauntlet custom destroys supercars, even without doing a wheelie!
Yeah speedometer isn't accurate I was in my dinka sugoi and on the speedometer it went 140 that's literally faster than the deveste 8
booter But then again for example the V-str’s speedometer shows it going 10 mph more than it’s actually going so who knows which ones are accurate and which ones aren’t
