Excellent tutorial! I’m slow, but I could almost keep up, and the instructions were so clear I only had to pause about every fourth stitch! For me that’s astounding! I’m using yarn that doesn’t want to slip easily, and a bigger hook, so my clumsy technique turns out a larger leaf, but it still looks like it’s supposed to! I’m so pleased! And my little berry is so cute! Thank you so much for presenting this for us! It’s Dec 14, 2024, trying to put a few inside decorations at the height GrandDad can see better, and needed a little something decorative to hang a little vertical triptych a bit lower. This is going to be perfect! Thank you again and God bless! Now for my other 2 berries!🎄
Your timing could not have been more perfect!!! I've been scouring my pattern books and the web for holly and ivy to embellish my crochet holiday bauble hot pads I'm gifting this year, and this pattern will be fantastic for them. YAY!!!
I loved your ghost tutorial. I made several of them. I thought I was already subscribed, but noticed I was not. Well, I did remedy that oversite and now am one of yours! I could sit and listen to you talk for hours!!! Merry Christmas!
Hello from Romania, Laura! I really like your channel, you are delicate and I really like how you explain the tutorials. I also made these little cranberry leaves and attached them to a globe crocheted by me with gold thread. The contrast of colors made it magical! Thank you very much! I wish you a blessed Christmas and lots of inspiration.☃🎄
Very very cute. All these lovely winter Christmas things are lovely but so not summer Christmas. I've only seen Holly growing in New Zealand once, many many years ago.
Cool another applique to add to my repertoire. I shared it too. Next year I will have a whole slew of these at Christmas time to use for my gifts. TFS ❣️🎅🤶🎄🦌🧶
I have literally no idea what is going on like all I heard was double crochet slip chain or something for 20 minutes and then there was a cool leaf like what super satisfying though
HO HO HO , I just made a little green dinosaur :-)) (I'm a starting crotcheteer from the Netherlands and I hope in the future RUclips has a slowmotion view.)
Really lovely Laura. Summer here in Australia so this is perfect for our Christmas decorations. I left England in 1979 but I loved the Holly bushes and the variegated ones too Thank you for sharing this lovely pattern Love and best wishes from Australia ❤️🇦🇺⭐️
Got cute results, was a bit too fast for me to keep up so I kept having to pause the video, and it will be easier to follow if U already know how to do the stitches
Ooo I found this very difficult to see the stitches clearly with the yarn I used, and I feel that ‘the camera’ is too far away from the work to really see what’s happening 😞. BUT I think the leaf looks beautiful and I will try again…. perhaps fresh eyes, with different yarn, on a different day🤔
You're definitely the first to comment on this, but I'm sure you're not alone. Sorry you get confused but just making one tutorial is exhausting so two would completely burn me out, maybe when I get paid more lol
As a fairly new crocheter I find you go a little too fast for me to keep up. I have to keep pausing the video and then I got lost near the end and had to start over as I couldn't pick up where I had got to
So easy you take your time and explain

No, I don't sorry!
I would like to know if you have any small holly leaves.
There is a tiny one a part of this pattern www.happyberry.co.uk/free-crochet-pattern/Christmas-Pudding/5170/

Got cute results, was a bit too fast for me to keep up so I kept having to pause the video, and it will be easier to follow if U already know how to do the stitches
You can adjust the video speed on the video settings ☺️
Super
Size 3.50mm crochet hook = U.S. size E-4. 😎
Who instantly just thought of Hollyleaf the warrior cat lol

It is very confusing when you repeat the directions in UK terms. Maybe you could make a UK pattern and a separate US. It may just me who is confused 😀
You're definitely the first to comment on this, but I'm sure you're not alone. Sorry you get confused but just making one tutorial is exhausting so two would completely burn me out, maybe when I get paid more lol
This was confusing mentioning american too , i gave up after three attemtps.
Have a tab open for American terms translated to UK terms
To fast for me!
You can slow down your playback speed under settings…
As a fairly new crocheter I find you go a little too fast for me to keep up. I have to keep pausing the video and then I got lost near the end and had to start over as I couldn't pick up where I had got to
You are going to fast!!!
