    Don't know if you have heard but the EXPLORE Act was signed into law and now filming is hassle free in National Parks again. You were the first to bring the news of the ban to our attention.

      Thanks very much for your comment. Yes, we have heard that the new act will open up the parks again for us. We are excited to get back out there and visit many of the parks which we have missed so far. We will definitely be doing more national Park videos once they begin to thaw!

    We have become HUGE Anker product fans over the years starting with smaller products for charging iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. Recently we hit the road for 154 days in our travel trailer with two Anker Solix C1000 power stations and one Anker Solix F2000 power station with four Anker 200 watt solar panels. Of those 154 days, we were off the grid for over 30 days and our Anker products were used daily to power most everything that requires electric power.

    We enjoy being off grid as well, and it is definitely nice to have different sources of energy. We have a Jackery 500 that is super useful as it will power my wife's CPAP for 3 nights with ease, and charge up a few phones a few times as well. We also have rechargable lights that we carry with us, and all sorts of little power bars, and of course several hundred watts of solar panels. My tow vehicle is the F150 Powerboost with the 7.2Kw generator so that becomes our ultimate back up, or if we happen to need AC when off grid. It allows us to survive a few nights anywhere without having to carry a generator. Always nice to see a review of alternative power options. Of course, a good book does not need power to run if you have the paper version, but I do carry a couple of rechargeable reading lights none the less. :) continued safe travels and happy camping on or off grid.

    Sean, you did a great job reviewing the three units. Kristy did a great job with the camera work. The Anker products certainly could fill a niche as a power source. Safe travels and stay warm!

    While I ended up putting a 100 AH LiFePO4 battery in my Hiker Squaredrop the power stations are great because I use them camping and around the house as well. Thanks for the review I was looking at these!

      I like these anchor units very much and I can guarantee the C 300 DC will be stationed on my bedside table. In fact, I would not mind having a couple more of the 300 DC. I like that they are camping lantern sized. Might as well ditch the camping lanterns, and replace them with a more functional unit. ⚡️

    We have a small LiTime 240/300 amp/hr solar “ generator “. We use it to run a computer & sewing machine. Works great and no drain on the house batteries. We didn’t need the bigger ones and saved the space & $$$.

    The intro music is cool!
    I bought two DJI 1000 power stations (through your Amazon store), because of your review.
    I have a small Anker power bank in our Starlink mini kit, in case I can’t plug it into the 12v in the trailer.
    I may need to order the small unit you demoed for UTV camping adventures.

      I love the DJI power solutions as well. From an off-grid, Boondocking standpoint, you never have too many sources of electricity lying around. We will definitely carry several of these little guys. One will be permanently stationed on my bedside table. 😁

    I looked at the 300 and almost bought it. I hesitated thinking it was new, and I’ve had issues with Anker’s first run products. (Anker’s 25,000 mWh battery brick, it lasted about 6 months before it stopped charging.)

    • @LongLongHoneymoon
      @LongLongHoneymoon  День назад +1

      That is concerning. Did you file a warranty claim? I bet they would replace it.

    • @LongLongHoneymoon
      @LongLongHoneymoon  День назад +1

      I like the 300, but I think the 300 DC is my favorite of the bunch. Simply because we already have a lot of AC power bricks. The DC only versions are smaller and I like that the 300 acts very much as a camping lantern.

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor День назад

      @ - I tried to replace it through Amazon, too much time had passed. I contacted Anker by their customer support email, we traded email messages and I gave up. The issue was you could charge it, it would show charged, try to charge something and the little circle would change from green 100% to red, 0% immediately. Plug in a charger overnight and it would show 100%, use it, 0% red circle. 🤷🏼‍♂️
      Edit, Good to know about the DC version, thanks!

      @ that is crappy. That is a problem with a lot of modern technology devices. They are fantastic when they work. But when they suddenly stop working… what can you do?
