I have watched you for 12 years now from when I first got into transformers to now and your videos have this feeling that brings me back to when i was younger and the internet was so much more peaceful and transformers were so much better............i wanna thank you for keeping the passion alive and helping people tranform figures throughout our childhoods
I ordered this set just the other day, can't wait to spruce the little guy up. He's been my desk bot since I got him. I wish it came with another Autobot symbol for his right shoulder since Toy Optimus should have badges on both arms, but I have spares for that from other sets. I like the yellow eyes on him myself, I may go for the "back of the box art" squinty eyes though. The rivet covers are part of pretty much every set they make these days, which is much appreciated, it makes them a bit less unsightly. I play to paint the forearm details in then use the black outline stickers to finish off the look. The chrome *really* helps him pop, that looks so much better than the silver. Chromed parts just look so much more prestige than silver paint and I wish mainline figures would ever have that again.
The other license plate says "M1N1LINK" or Mini Link. A litte reference to the original Missing Link Prime since this is basically a cheaper version of it.

HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD AT APPLYING TINY STICKERS IN TINY PLACES? I haven't finished the video yet, so if you made any mistakes anywhere I take comfort in your simple humanity, but everything I've seen so far is so cleanly applied that it's EERIE. TLDR: I am extremely not good at applying stickers.
Fine needle nose tweezers are a huge boost to your finesse with stickers Still takes skill, but the right tool for the job does wonders Toyhax I believe still sell tweezers
Hey Emgo, have you heard about the CyberEra CE-06 figure, which is a modified knockoff of the MPM-12 BBM Prime figure? If so, are you planning to pick it up and review it?
I imagine there's no way you won't be getting the Motormaster set as well; I'd prefer the checkerboard BotCon symbol, but there is an angular MM logo that clearly homages a certain org
Great vid bro. This is still a terrible prime. How can they make him worse than the G1 version, it's been 40 years and they couldn't improve it. The stickers do make him look soo much better though. Keep up the good work.
@Snivy_1245 when I stand it next to G1 prime it looks terrible. Little bits of kibble and very cheap looking. The stickers are definitely a good upgrade. I just think he should look better than a 40 year old version. Legacy stuff can be hit or miss. Tarn was great, armada megatron and prime both great. Hotshot was bad.

Fine point tweezers are a must, I wouldn't dare try applying toyhax stickers without them.

I’m not sure that’s the intention, given the yellow eyes he comes with. But regardless, with these stickers, he can be however you want him to be!
