- Inspired by the real life of singer/songwriter Alyssa Robbins, "Becks" follows a Brooklyn musician named Becks who, after a crushing breakup with her girlfriend, moves back in with her Midwestern mother. As she navigates her hometown, playing for tip money in her old friend Dave's bar, an unexpected relationship begins to take shape. Driven by an original score by Alyssa Robbins, the film’s musical numbers bring a unique new voice to the American musical movie. Stars Lena Hall and Mena Suvari came by to speak on the film.

Oh I love this movie. Worth watching. I love the chemistry of Mena and Lena portraying their roles. The voice of Lena Hall is really amazing. Acting for the first time in a movie, she was awesome! As for Mena, she's a sweet pretty lady in the movie did a great job, who also fell in love with a girl played by Beck (lena). Both actresses would capture the heart of people esp. among gay women :-)
She literally looks the same as she did in American beauty

It would be great and more coolest movie if creators still decided to leave them together in the end of movie... But Becks decided not to destroy their marriage. Which mean that Becks maybe doуыn`t believe in hirself, doen`t believe in their relationship, also maybe she think that what she can offer to her? What kind of life? To live in some shabby apartments in New York and drag a miserable existence on the little money earned from performances? That's probably why she chose to leave alone.
