Original Video Animation, also known as just Super Street Fighter IV in Japan and by its unofficial fan name Super Street Fighter IV: Juri OVA, is an OVA Street Fighter film. It is the second animated film based on the Street Fighter IV games, after The Ties That Bind. The film is directed by Fuminori Kizaki (of Afro Samurai fame) and produced by Gonzo. Initially released as a DLC within the "Collector's Edition" for Microsoft Xbox 360 in Asia, it was later released in the U.S. in 2012, inside the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary - Collector's Set, where it was referred to as Super Street Fighter IV Original Video Animation on the anniversary website.
Plot
The OVA, set just prior to the actual tournament during Super Street Fighter IV, opens with a woman emerging from the S.I.N. lab; the Korean Taekwondo fighter Juri Han, Seth's new hatchet woman replacing C. Viper from the previous game. Juri is empowered by her possession of the Feng Shui Engine (implanted in her left artificial eye socket), which makes her seemingly unstoppable, raring to "go kill something", she heads to an amusement park, hunting down some former S.I.N. personnel; despite being heavily-armed, the thugs don’t stand a chance against Juri's skills.
Though Juri targets and kills off other bad guys as well, she clearly doesn’t care at all that there are hostages or innocent civilians around as she uses her Feng Shui powers to lay waste to everything around her. Soon, the Interpol team of Guile, Chun-Li and Cammy arrive just in time to see the park go up in purple flame. They storm in and split up, with Chun-Li being the one to encounter Juri right away; the ensuing fight proves to be one-sided as Juri beats Chun-Li to near death. Before she can finish her off for good, her eye malfunctions plus the cavalry arrives, so Juri makes a quick exit.
Later, some info from a mysterious source (C. Viper) reaches the team on Juri's whereabouts. While Chun-Li is confined to the hospital, Guile and Cammy set off in pursuit of Juri, now on a mission to capture the Shadaloo Dolls (M. Bison's elite guards) at a secluded lab. Cammy and Guile arrive just as Juri finishes with the last of them. As Cammy tends to an unconscious Juni and Juli, Guile fights Juri. While faring better than Chun-Li, Guile struggles to gain the upper hand, to the point where Juri mockingly mentions Chun-Li and asks if she died; this enrages Guile, and he unleashes a furious onslaught that unfortunately does little except agitate her. Despite Cammy's efforts to warn Guile of an incoming attack, he is unable to dodge Juri's Fuharenjin, and is defeated. Cammy is left alone to leap onto the escaping S.I.N. craft, where she and Juri fight once more. Despite her efforts, Cammy is overwhelmed by Juri, who then shoves the unconscious Juni off the plane, taking Cammy along with her. Luckily, a nearby mountaintop and a mound of snow breaks their fall.
Juri flies off and is congratulated by Seth upon returning. She licks her lips in anticipation, sensing that S.I.N and Shadaloo will clash in the very near future.

Akuma cannot even be considered human anymore. Even his appearance is that of an oni yokai straight up (no pun intended).

Juri is officially my favorite SF character. She's a badass, evil, and possibly insane the big three.
She's my favorite character too. She's Street Fighter's version of Takeshi Asakura/Kamen Rider Ouja from Kamen Rider Ryuki. Both are purple-colored sadistic fighters who fight just for fun.

Really, this is a great direction for the Street Fighter series. I wish these were in the games, but that is unreasonable, cost-wise. Animated well, intriguing story, great characterization of established characters, and the action is well-done. This is a Street Fighter cartoon done right, and I wish Capcom would continue releasing these.

No, the power of the Feng Shui Engine is directly determined from the power and abilities of the one who weilds it, kind of like the Satsui No Hado is for Ryu or Akuma. Plus, it stated in the beginning part of this video clip that Juri was considered to be the top Tei Kwan Do martial artist at the age of 15 years old. That means that she, at that age, was stronger than people who had been practicing this Martial Art for 50 years or more. Just a thought.

If Akuma thought that she was even worth his time. Akuma will only fight someone he deems worthy of his attention, holding back even then to either give himself more of a challenge or to even the odds for his opponents, proving to the world that he really is the ultimate bad@!

It seems that Capcom, after releasing a few animated movies, limited themselves to releasing only video games.
If they released at least one season of an anime where they adapted all the lore, the history of the franchise would be at the level of Kimetsu no Yaiba or Naruto.
Street Fighter has a spectacular history and they have been wasting it.

Juri is basically a Kamen Rider villain as a fighting game character. She's probably based on Takeshi Asakura/Kamen Rider Ouja from Kamen Rider Ryuki.
XD, GUILE'S THEME REALLY DOES GOES WITH EVERYTHING XDD. THAT WAS TOO EPIC. It even still matched it after the fight.!! Gonna eat ceral with it on!
Also, keep in mind that Akuma is considered to be at least 10 times stronger than most of the fighters in the street fighter universe(with the exceptions of Gouken, Oro, Gill, and perhaps M.Bison to name the few that I know of)

@HadesHatredEdge That was a pretty sweet moment. Usually the shotos get the main focus, so while this was short, I really liked seeing Guile, Chun li, and Cammy get a little love in this.
He probably didn't have time to. Keep in mind that Juri's speed and agility, especially coupled with the Feng Shui Engine, are considerably greater than that of Guile's. He was pretty clearly shown having a hard time even coming close to landing a single hit on Juri, minus that one part where she was caught off guard. Plus, to be short, Guile would have been left wide open if he tried some attack like that.

The Juni & Juli fight scene could've been so much better. In alpha 2 they're always introduced as a shadowy figure that turns out to be 2 characters and along with Cammy, they were possibly the most dangerous agents Bison had at his disposal- especially considering Cammy was rocking psycho powers at the time. Oh well, this animation is tight.

@EvilRyuGuy you find an artificial eye that is used to boost the body's physical abilities to the point where one can blow up a jet with a kick more believable then gloves the produce electricity and boots that shoot fire?
I'd recommend getting it. It's a very fun, though sometimes frustrating, game.
@Zacurafire I find it more believable in-universe as a plot device for her being stronger, since most super human feats in Street Fighter are based on chi.

Without her eye, the dolls would have easily taken her down. The whole time she fought them, she was using her eye. Juni and Juli especially because they still have psycho power (SFA 3 story and Juni being able to Mach slide and heal each other). Juri's still cool, I just would have like to see a better battle with all the dolls especially Juli and Juni.

@MaxSachs No. She's still proficient in Tae Kwon Do. The eye just lets her blow shit up, travel faster then normal and slam more Ki into people to add extra damage to her kicks.
Without the eye, she's on Chun Li's level. With the eye, she can crush people like Chun Li.
If you watched part 2, she got heavily injured by Juri when she fought her, thus, she's in the hospital.

She didn't know how to use Ki prior to receiving the eye, now she does? Chun Li has been able to use Ki for a long time, I wouldn't go to say that without the eye she's on Chun Li's level. I read somewhere that her eye places her on par with the Psycho Drive but just below the Satsui no Hadou, true?

Correct. It's the difference between a great athlete and a superhuman.
Most of the cast is at that great athlete level. Juri at the superhuman stage (along with about a quarter of the cast).

lol well despite that it does give her a big power boost, she is still a really good fighter without it. she is one of the best Tae Kwon Do fighters around and she can still follow up and counter wihout the Engine

I'm not so sure about that last part. Juri's just a very difficult character to pull off but, if done correctly, is a very strong one, though her stamina is on Akuma's level(which, for those of you nerds out there(just kidding), he intentionally uses as a handicap)

First off, this isn't the games of street fighter so the creators have more leeway when it comes to creativity. Secondly, Juri wasn't charging her attack, that was merely the ki energy resonating from her Feng Shui Engine, she could've moved and counterattacked at any point had Cammy and Guile tried something like that. Didn't you see Juri's sadistic smile? She was obviously toying with the two of them.
I wanna see Juri fight Cammy or Guile again without that eye of hers.

Perhaps....Just realize that we haven't come close to seeing the full abilities of Juri's Feng Shui Engine either. And you really can't say that it's an unfair advantage for Juri to be so reliant upon that eye considering Akuma, perhaps Gouken(never clearly stated, though he apparently has the potential to), and Ryu's(reluctantly) of the Satsui No Hado, or "Killing Intent" to be specific. Your probably right though and I'd still bet my money on them three anyday, she just may be more challenging

@danbasker I'll tell you. Bison (eng) is actually Vega (jpn)...Akuma = Gouki, Balrog = M. Bison (reffered to Mike Tison, but was changed to Balrog to avoid getting sued), Vega = Balrog, Charlie = Nash. Of course FireFalcon546 got a better explanation in this, I just know the basic facts about English and Japanese Versions of anime and games
With what happened in SF4 I wouldn't be surprised if Juni, Juli and Charlie made a return. Or the guy who Abel saw use a similar technique in the game was Alex and we are getting trolled. Though that wouldn't be bad, I like Charlie.

At any point in this fight, I was expecting Akuma to jump in this fight and sucker punch Juri with the Satsui No Hado just like he did with Bison in street fighter 2 turbo.
