Amazing Turbo-Prop flight (PC12)

Flight from Northern Spain to Goodwood in southern UK. Start-up, take off and inflight before a grass strip landing just on south coast of the UK. PC 12 is a beautiful single engine turbo-prop thats flies to 30,000 ft and can still land on a short grass strip. Amazing machine!

You seem to have watched on that sqare-shaped cockpit displays for too long so you didn't noticed that television, pc monitors and movie displays usually tend to be wider than high. That results in the necessitiy of holding your video recording device horizontal during the entire recording process.

Please remember to turn your phone horizontal for taking video and vertical for putting it in your pocket.

A nice trip marred by amateur iPhone work.....16.9 is the preferred ratio; turn the camera around 90 degrees and see the difference!

Next time, tilt the phone 90 degrees anti-clockwise so it's in LANDSCAPE format. Portrait is for photos not videos.

Thanks for the download. My preference is for twin props, but if I were getting a single engine, this would be the one. Wish you had used a wider angle lense.

I flew a PC-12 for a charter company a few years back; amazing airplane. Short & soft field capable with a 250kt cruise.

Love the sound of that PT-6 starting up! Thanks for sharing the video. Amazing that their PC-24 twin-engine jet is also going to be certified for grass strips, and will have the giant baggage door in the back.

PT6A-67B puts out 1200 horsepower.

+Nathanael Iorga For 5 minutes then you have to pull back the power to 1,000shp. The newer -67P is 1,200shp with no time limit.

Yes you can fly the pc-12 single pilot. Also if you take the pilatus training and refresher courses you don't need a type rating.
