I loved we were liars by e. Lockhart!! I am going to have to put family of liars on my TBR. You have a some really great picks here, happy reading!! 🌞📚🫶
The Summer girl was my favorite new book that I’ve read in a long time. My mom is reading the book at the moment, it reminded me of Ocean City in Maryland with the boardwalk and the Beach
My tbr for the summer is starting Throne of Glass, finishing The Final Empire, Renegades, The Serpent and the Wings of Night, Powerless, and finish The Mortal Instrument series finally plus hopefully read Emily Henry's backlist books as well.
The summer of broken rules is such a good pick! Honestly, the synopsis is pretty different from the book, it's SUCH a broad overview but that makes the story all the more fun! I think you'll really like that one :) for the summer girl, do you think it'll be good to read as a stand alone? im not a fan of the premise of the other 2 books but this one is right up my alley!
I've enjoyed all the Elin Hilderbrand books I've read including The Five Star Weekend ☀ The Unhoneymooners was the first rom-com I ever read and I really enjoyed it and kind of started my rom-com era 🤗 Don't be intimidated by Things We Never Got Over... I LOVED it and it read pretty quickly for me 🌼 Just finished Just For The Summer and it was another 5 Star from Abby J. 🧡 I WANTED to try SJM this summer and Throne of Glass interested me, but then there was debate about when to read Assassin's Blade and then you have to tandem read 2 of the books... Then went down a whole rabbit hole about how to read SJM... Suffice it to say, I'm not reading SJM... Started Boys of Tommen instead 😁
haha, my personal opinion, read assassins blade first, and then after heir of fire just read a quick synopsis to refresh your mind of certain characters
I reread Crescent City 1 and 2 this month. I’m currently sitting here watching this and trying to see if there’s something else I want to or should pick up before starting CC3 but my heart keeps saying CC3. But if you need a hype man to get you through ToG, I can make it happen. KoA isn’t even that daunting when you consider that you’ve just done that tandem read. What’s another 990 or so pages?!
@@angelisareadsbut you get Crescent City when it is! I’m an outlier. I prefer CC above ToG and ACOTAR. It’s got it all! Come. Drink the kool-aid with me. 😂 But also, don’t start forming an opinion or judging House of Earth and Blood until you’re 200 pages in. I don’t say that to discourage anyone, I say it so people know there’s a reason for it all. I read House and Sky and Breath when it first released and I got to a part last night that completely body checked me. I can’t believe I forgot the detail. You won’t see the KO punches coming in Crescent City.
The Summer of Broken Rules is such a fun & cute read that also deals with the topic of grief & just does such a great job overall at providing representation for those who lived with it! Also, everyone needs a Wit :) Cannot recommend it highly enough, good luck with your TBR & Happy Memorial Day Weekend! ❤🤍💙✨ I have a personally fun question for you. Which romance authors do you read that you wish deserve more love & recognition on Booktube/Bookstagram/BookTok?
i know Abby Jimenez is a big author but i don’t feel people talk enough about her books and what topics they battle and just her writing in general. she’s also hilarious on her instagram

i think you’d be fine to read it as a stand alone! they are definitely their own romance stories, with just the same friend group!
@@angelisareads okay awesome! im super excited for that one!
