OK MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE I JUST HAD TNT BLOWN UP IN FRONT OF MY FACE BUT I DONT CARE BC I LOVE MYSELF AND MY MAD SCIENTIST LOOKING ASS. Also I was too lazy to fix it hehe
The waterproofing detergent revitalizes the waterproof coating aka (DWR). It’s crucial you wash your jackets with these detergents (grangers, nikwax, etc) and if you wanted, you could add a DWR spray on the outer layer after it finishes washing.
How does the hood fare in windy conditions? Also, is there any chance you could demonstrate the pack ability of this jacket in another video or even just a short?
you may have just given me an idea! in terms of the hood in windy conditions, it performs fine but since its the dryvent material, you can feel the breeze coming in since the jacket is meant to breath
@@LeoNguyen1999 Well, that’s great. Happy to help! Thanks for your detailed review btw. I think I’m going to buy the Venture 2 jacket rather than this one, but this video was really helpful.
@@matthewforester also really glad i could've been of help. I always recommended the venture 2 when my customer told me they'd be outdoors for more than 3-4 hours in pouring rain as the rubberized membrane really does keep the water out. Only thing is it gets a bit warm so make sure to ventilate that hot air out from time to time with the pit zippers!
in terms of waterproofing the venture 2 is much better with it's rubberized lining. the only thing it sacrifices is breathability but it does have underarm zippers to help air that hot air out.
mad scientist lookin ass. boutta build a big laser to destroy the city lookin ass.

Wait washing a raincoat? I’ve never done that lol
I bought the Resolve 1 from Steep & Cheap for $90, but I think I'm also picking up the Resolve 2, which would be much more useful in San Diego, CA
Nice pickup!
I thought that washing it lesser or not even will be better for the waterproofness bc it won’t wash off the repellent layer

Any comment on the dryzzle futurelight vs this or the venture 2 man? Or anything on the dryzzle really. Thanks!
