Without doubt the World's best 500cc Solo race in the in the World of off road motorcycle racing from the extreme sport of Grasstrack racing. Two of the very top riders in the UK absolutely going for it on their 500cc machines. From Writtle near Chelmsford in Essex at the "Bracey Weekender" meeting, in memory of one of the nicest men you could ever want to meet. What a fitting tribute to Steve Brace. James Shane (83) and Zach Wajtknecht have dominated the British Masters Championship over the last few years, and here is why. In spectacular action, they put on the best 500cc Solo race in years, or ever ever. Watch and thrill at the skill of these 2 young men.

I used to be a mechanics assistant for Jeremy Doncaster in his Grass track days he later went on to Speedway with Ipswich Witches .. GT was in the days of Simon Wigg and Martin Hagen.. Scary stuff especially when it was dry and dusty..

Like people say, "The good old days". Far more competitive than now. So many top class riders. You would probably have seen me doing interviews with Jeremy back in those days. Well, holding the camera at least. Jim Head would've been doing the interviewing.
