We just got back from a cruise on the Norwegian Encore and we were in the Haven area, I would HIGHLY recommend it. The priority disembarkation, quiet Horizon lounge and the restaurant being so quiet and peaceful was worth the extra cost to us, I would prefer to go less often and book in the Haven than to do more often and stay in a regular cabin room. And the food is unbelievable !!
I LOOOOOVE the Haven, but it is quite expensive. Since I have now been spoiled, I always book the Haven because of all the amenities. While I don't agree with those who say they would book the Haven solely for the embarkation/quiet/less stress aspects, I book it for ALL the things the Haven includes, Ie, restaurant, private pool, observation lounge, etc. Frankly, I get excited just watching this video of others boarding through the Haven process.
In my opinion, the priority embarkation, tendering, and disembarkation are worth the extra cost of The Haven on their own. This takes time and processes that can be hectic and stressful and offers relaxation in exchange.

For me, it's likely the priority embarkation plus The Haven Restaurant for all meals, that would be worth the price of admission. I hope to be able to confirm this soon... :)

Did a haven spa suite on the breakaway. The spa part wasn’t worth it to me but the haven was great. I would recommend a courtyard

Booked the haven for next oct , hopefully its a go this time, had 2 cruises canceled due to covid. Our first time in the haven but have cruised ncl many times in the past. Always a good time.

The Haven is the most amazing section of the ship. You truly are pampered like royalty. The food is amazing , the Haven are more spacious and you almost cannot believe there are several thousand other passengers. True, Getting onboard and leaving is such a pleasure….Yea totally worth the extra $$. We’re taking the Haven next week on the last trip to Alaska 10/16/21
Unfortunately the Oct cruise on the joy did cancle..we go on the breakaway the same week.

Quick question...hope it makes sense. We'll be staying in a Haven room on the 12th deck. We were told we have the same privileges of someone staying on any other deck that has a Haven room. We're in the aft section. Is this true? We're booked through NCL and I'm hoping there's no shenanigans. Our room is definitely a Haven room and we were told full access is included. Just thought I'd ask someone who knows because your video was nice. One more thing...do people try to sneak into The Haven? Thanks for any help you can provide. Take care.

Yes you will enjoy all the perks of the Haven services..You have key access to the inside compound ..the pool is amazing , but the Haven observation deck is the bomb. I’m a very early riser, my wife no so much..I would do a few laps (walking) on deck 8 then up to the Haven observation deck, hang out until the sun rises. They put up coffee tea and light snacks at 6am..so quiet..amazing

Lol Norwegian food was nasty in my opinion. Booked for my birthday and yes I paid for the fine dining wasn't impressed with anything but breakfast.
Is celebrity or royal better than NCL...Need help
I really like Celebrity, and now they have their "The Retreat" product. It's very similar to The Haven, and I personally would cruise on either Celebrity or NCL, at any time, and neither need to be in The Haven or The Retreat. Both lines are superb!

No, it isn’t, but I believe on some of the newer ships the Haven is located adjacent to the adults-only sundeck.
I find nothing luxurious about it and where is the welcoming champagne? Really depressing.

Haven is a joke! No one goes on a mega ship to spend all week in one little area of it!
I'll take my interior room for 300 bucks and get to do all the same shit as you....only about 9 more times for the same money!

@@robbieomalley371 whatever makes you feel like you belong I guess. At the end of the day, I get to do all the stuff you do at 1/10th the price.
You would be much better off spending all that money on a sailing yacht or chartering a boat for a week. You would get many times better service also.
