And now a video please for focussing (tracking on) during video, especially on my A1. My focus during video is going everywhere except that part that I want.
This is SO HELPFUL for someone like me starting out on a Sony ZV-E10 and I am new to photography/videography in general. Your video explained all those different modes perfectly! I have just been guessing around which one to use for the last 3 days 🤣 Thanks for a clear cut well informed video.
If i understand this correctly the only reason to use AFS instead of AFC is to save battery? Based on what was said in this video I can't seem to think of any scenario where AFS is superior than AFC.
Does AF-S really save battery over AF-C!? Have a estimated or measured by how much AF-C affects battery life? I always leave on AF-C but decouple focusing from the shutter
Hi Eric, yes, it does. And we don't have specific numbers, as it depends on many factors, including the period you're going to shoot for and other settings. ^Hanan
@@SonyEuro Thank you for your reply. That said, I always have WiFi and high viewfinder refresh rate on, so that AF-C seems to barely makes a dent in the excellent battery life NP-FZ100 offers.
I have a A7R5 - if I want to AF a product, what setting would you recommend. There seems to be everything from planes to birds, but a lot of the time im just shooting food drink or products
Hi Mark, please check out examples of different shooting settings in different applications by your camera here in our photo gallery: cutt.ly/HekNu6Yq ^Mazen
Hi Brian, unfortunately, the Lock-on AF does not work when [Subject Detection] under [Face/Eye AF Set.] is set to [Animal], please check the guide here: cutt.ly/fwOCMjkW ^Mazen
Hi there, we'd like to highlight that both the ILCE-7CM2 and the ILCE-7CR support manual focus, you can find more info here: bit.ly/3sSY2Jr / bit.ly/416DnOu. Rest assured, we highly appreciate your valued feedback, and we have flagged it as voice of customer, to the concerned team for future consideration. ^Omnia

On the Sony A7III why can't I get Eye AF to work when I'm in Lock-on AF: Flexible Spot M?
Hi Brian, unfortunately, the Lock-on AF does not work when [Subject Detection] under [Face/Eye AF Set.] is set to [Animal], please check the guide here: cutt.ly/fwOCMjkW ^Mazen
thx bro
I prefer manual focus, so I am very disappointed with the 2 new cameras A7CII and A7RC which have too small and too low resolution EVF !

Wow, that was not what I was expecting at all….What about all those focus points and when to choose which option for photo and video and such….
Hi there, could you let us know the exact model of the Sony camera to be able to advise properly?^Omnia
Sony is Super
Even SONY doesn't know what AF-A does 😂
Someone needs to make a video explain how AF-A works and what it does exactly
❤❤❤❤❤❤
The autofocus seems to worse and with more unnecessary complications.
