As a fan of classic fight flicks from the 80s and 90s i have always liked ian jacklin, I've seen most all his movies i thought but i had not ever seen this one. I enjoyed it sure it's a little lower budget but it was fun and i really enjoyed the cast ian plus sam jones who i have loved since i was a kid from flash Gordon and all the direct to cable and video action movies he has done oh yea and the old highway man series. Judy landers who is gorgeous and been in some great comedy movies i like over the years. The actress who played the blind woman did a great job as well. I'm glad i seen this nice fun action movie with that early nineties vibe i love and remember so fondly. I was born in 1977 so all through my teen and younger years i grew up on this stuff, and i have always loved it still to this day. If ian is in it i have to see it. Thanks for the upload, good times.
After years of training in San Chi Kai, Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo, i gave up on these. The lack of full contact practice, and the realization that many black belts may look great doing katas, but had rarely, if ever had a real fight in their lives, and all their training would in a lot of cases go out the window after a good hit in the head[no plan survives first contact, there is no preparation for this but lots of full contact practice]. After about 8 years in the west I went to live in Thailand and trained and fought Muay Thai for years. Muay is savage shit! Not all Black belts are like i described above, but for the most part those that are good HAVE had plenty of full contact experience! To make a generalization, training in the west does not prepare one for a real all out brawl on the street:/ Though this is something to be avoided at all costs[street fights], sometimes guys just wont back off. Never strike the first blow, only fight if you are attacked! This lies at the heart of the spirit of martial arts, not to mention the legal trouble it can land you in, especially these days:/ This part of my life ended after the tsunami in 04 wiped my home and bar off the map, along with everything else, and 250,000 people all around the SE Asia area:( That was no fun, especially cleaning up afterward:/ I lived there 12 years, but only fought at province level for 5 after two years of training first. I had been going to Thailand during surf trips to Indo since the mid 80s but did not start living there nearly full time till the early 90s. The early years of training in the west in other arts did help heaps in cutting down the amount of training in Muay i had to do to prepare me for the ring:)[strictly ameteur stuff!] I will add for the young guys that lots of Yoga is terrific preparation for strength and flexibility! Get as flexible as you can, it cuts down injurys! Hope you are doing well Ian, you would be about my age, we gettin old,lol. I still surf, but no more fighting:)
This movie is so goofy and silly it's ALMOST worthwhile watching. And, R Smith I agree with you, BAD, but funny. Throw in a blind girl and everything goes to crap.

I didn't last very long watching this, as the first few minutes was enough to tell me that the actors can't act, and the film is just a B movie, on a tight budget.

What I do know is it centers around an underground fighting syndicate that hosts death matches in cage surrounded by weapons. What weapon you get is decided by computer and a blue light shines on it when it can be used. I know it is not Ring of Steel. Can someone please help me out?
