You describing this made me really angry - i was self conscious and socially anxious a year after i was bullied even a small amount, maybe a year, any more and i wouldn't have got more confident by now; kids are assholes and that's just a fact of life

Man, I feel so bad for you. It seems like you were just delt abad hand in life.
And that's one of the reasons I tell my brother why he should stay in homeschool and be glad he is in there rather than regular school, he only knows about the bullies I had to deal with often and not had to deal with bullies (for the most part) outside of scouts. I am glad I swapped to virtual school and stayed off social medias and discord until I was 18, i learned later what people can do to you via my mandatory church evaluation, and it's honestly f**ked up what people do. People occasionally telling me to commit self extinction and to go away (i left those discord and blocked them) for no reason is why I stayed off there, and why my parents basically forced me to.

Bullying is the primary reason why I hate school
Every year some new widespread bullying happens, and I’m always the victim. And what did the admins do?

I know what bullying is like, and it sucks that you had to deal with it too…

In real life I find people like Mariah to be not someone to rely on when things go bad. At best you have to hold them back from making decisions that'll blow up in your face later. At worst they'll straight up turn on you.
