@@towuniverse2443 understandable. Some trucks are built for recovery work and others are highway use only. It’s like how recovery trucks, especially mountain recovery, have stiff legs for anchoring and usually have 4 wheel drive.
Extremely poor design... Bad engineering... So much for no lube nylon bushings system... Can't understand why high pressure high wear component doesn't have lubrication fittings, doesn't make sense... It would be okay in some environments but, not where you work.
Umm I'll tell you want jerr dan has the best.. Miller industries stuff sucks we had one that the whole grid fell off ...and grease points always seize up...i work for large repo company on the east coast..we have all jerr dan one Vulcan .we still have to rebulid jerr dans time to time but if greased proper and they are the way to go
When you get too many moving parts something is bound to break. Fancy wreckers with a lot that can go wrong.
Great info. Thanks! Welding is a priceless skill!
The auto loader is a good idea, and lifesaving in some situations, but it is also another thing to break down.
They are a pain for recovery work though

@@messianichebrewshawnkawcak1550 i miss mine though.
Can you do a startup video all your tow trucks
Just for poops and giggles... take a look at some of the other Auto loader brands. Some you will be impressed with some you will not...
You don't need to weld nothing in there
Pin broke and I needed to put it back into service.
How hard would it be to change out the cross bar for the manual one?
Not hard. I can remove that cross bar in 15 minutes. Ive thought about putting a conventional one so i can use forks

This bed has one grease fitting on the pivot pin. I hate it!!!!!
I've heard that before about that brand hundreds of times. Maybe next time you will try something from one of the Miller Industries brands...
