Deputy President Kithure Kindiki recently participated in a comprehensive interview where he addressed several pressing national issues. The interview, broadcast on December 19, 2024, covered topics including the government's response to recent protests, measures to enhance national security, and strategies to boost economic growth. During the discussion, Deputy President Kindiki emphasized the administration's commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring public safety. He acknowledged the challenges posed by recent demonstrations and outlined steps being taken to address the underlying concerns of the protesters. Additionally, he highlighted initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities and improving the overall economic landscape of the country. ✨🇰🇪
An interview like this should have focused on the country, and the people. Not the seat of DP, the person of DP, the former DP. Our media must up their game and conduct meaningful interviews.
I like the way Kindiki, bored this journalist by avoiding politics...he intentionally did not feed them with what they wanted even after being provoked. Kudos sir, this is a grounded and wise man!
Recall the question on security which quoted the DP as saying among other things "..We will prosecute." Has it occurred to the one who asked about the extent of progress made, that the incumbent answering the question embodies the status of such progress to a large extent?
Thanks very his excellency the Deputy president, you have really done it. You are the kind of a leader we Kenyan are looking for. You response was above the bar. May God bless Kenyan and it's leadership.
@@morgana47 Don't get me wrong..Journalists didn't push him hard enough for obvious lies and contradictions in his statements. For example...how can interior ministry claim to make ex-gratia payments as an act of kindness or mercy to bereaved families while police officers under the same ministry were involved in crimes? Can one pretend to help out of mercy for pain or suffering they created? Is there any sense in that? He talked about scholary work and government as a custodian of nation interests...He is part of executive and beneficiary of the system that pupports to advance national v. v. popular interests. What of governments where individuals therein advances parochial, self seeking interests in the name of national interests? Like selling national monuments like KICC, SHI-SHA etc....Those in leadership executive these ideas on the premise that they are smarter than wananchi and not as an act of responsibility. They assume citizens could do self harm(suicidal) in the name of popular interests. The journalists know what happened on June 25th. They shouln't have sat there to be lectured rather offer a push back as a third eye for accountability purposes.
We are short of journalists indeed,
This man schooled them, and that's why he's a prof.
How? Were clearly watching different videos.
I have listened carefully to our Dp and for sure he is worth. I know the president is now happy.

A whole year investigating that means what??... nothing will happen... that will forever hug around you
very inexperienced interviewers with very irrelevant questions. Some questions are also very disrespectful.
There is a reason why there are no comments under this interview, Kenyans are angry

These journalists are below par. Couldn't repudiate or intellectually mount a challenge for obvious lies or absense of logic in arguments.
How can u defend the pain this man caused to Kenyans?
