5:40 huge mistake if Turkey accepts to change the current custom union agreement. Right now they can use the custom union to lure huge investments from China Russia and elsewhere. The current custom union helps China to dodge the tariffs on affordable EV vehicles.
Interesting point about the custom union! BYD's factory is a great example of the benefits for Turkey. Tough decision though, as changing it could affect future investments & EV prices in Europe.
