Just realized that field flooding can also be used for cranberries.
My expectations are pretty low for the base game itself. But I’m excited on how modders will utilize things to make it better.
Now this is definitely an agreeable comment. I wholeheartedly agree. I always keep my base game expectations low, then I go nuts when the editor is released. I love creating in the editor and seeing how far I can take my experience in the game.
This guy gets it.
If you look at the pic that the Giants Partners received, the pic with a sellpoint/grain silo on the American map, the building had holes. You’re going to have to bring planks and or wood to actually build some of the sheds/sell points/ silos, etc.
Thank you for this video breakdown! I'm truly hoping for some gameplay improvements in '25. I'm all for new crops and very excited for rice and a new environment!! But moreover, I'm really looking to see improvements for the actual gameplay side of things.
I played '15 and '17 just a little bit, and bought '22 very late into its life-cycle. playing it quite a bit through its completion without mods.
As a solo gamer, it's painful to watch the AI get stuck on default map parts (a specific Elmcreek bridge and some creekbeds for example) using base game equipment. It should know how to navigate the entire map and operate each piece of equipment without missing parts of my crops or creating random shapes in my fields.
I don't want to be a downer, but running a map-wide farming empire should not see me babysitting AI through mundane tasks, I don't have that kind of time or energy. Especially if, for example, I want to work on a labor-intensive crop (grapes come quickly to mind) but instead I am constantly forced to "tab over" to reorient and retask AI that gets stuck or just stops a job midway through.
I'd also think that by now, I should be able to tell the AI workers to go harvest the grain, dump it in a trailer, and then set them up to bale up the straw, pick up the bales, and deliver all of that to a locations as needed. The game could even cheat the process (i.e. I'm not going to watch the AI and get mad if they don't actually have to be in the exact spot to pick up the bale--just have the game *pop* it in the trailer).
Oh well it's just a rant and my 2 cents. Looking forward to see what you end up doing with FS '25!
I have wanted them to do one thing to make the game more fun, to me anyways. And that is to make the water fluid. After seeing the boiling water in the pot, the pump moving water into the rice field, I hope that they have done it. I mean could you imagine being able to terraform the land from a river to your farm so you could have a pond to get water from. I feel its a possibility from what I am seeing.
I think they should do a story mode. The map feels empty, but having characters you interact with and help might be nice. You can have the standard mode and a story mode
Story mode may not be coming but NPCs are :)
i hope there's bison farming. also it would be kinda cool if you could just have a ranch instead of a farm
That would be Ranch Simulator (no, I don't recommend it anymore. They left early access too soon).
I'm pretty excited for the new game! But for me this game would be complete once they add irrigation
I noticed the storm in the back ground before they snapped that pic. Are we going to have tornadoes? Guess we’ll know soon enough.
Thank you, FC. Stay safe out there.
A little disappointed that it doesn't seem they've done anything with vehicle repairs and damage to equipment. Hopefully, they're just holding that until later but other than that I can't wait for FS25 🎉🎉🎉
Damage is avoided with manufacturers as they don't like seeing their vehicles mashed. E.g. in Forza and ETS 2 both have damage but none of it is physical just a bar. Repairs would be fun though, having to diagnose faults.
Assuming how large the lake in year 1 pass expansion looks, Im guessing fish farming!
We have a mod for that in FS22 already.
@@mikesiver1950 Mods often become features in newer games, this is hopeful
@@mikesiver1950 just as Silver mentioned, GIANTS do incorporate mods into newer games especially FS22 incorporated many mods from FS19 such as the production chain of global company, no water requirement for barns (FS19 mod for that was cooler as you installed a pipeline with a valve to water rather than just removing requirement but nontheless), AI driving system most likely inspired from Autodrive and many more. I love mods however when things become a part of base game or DLCs, it can be improved further and further and make newer games even better for those who don't like modding and its less likely to be abandoned (or not transfered to next game) unless a large overhaul or backlash from community.
They put a Scottish map in Just for me!!!!! FACT 👍😂😂
#FakeNews... JK haha looking forward to seeing you FSG
@@FarmerCop you too buddy!!
FINALLY! I have been wanting rice fields and water buffalos since FS17! (no, I'm not asian).
Looking forward to planting rice by hand and work the watered field with a buffalo (Pretty Please!! with or without Mods)
The taller grassy crops around the rice field in the trailer could be bamboo.
I'm kind of confused, when Giants very first put up the pre-order page, all that was pictured for a bonus was the MacDon Pack, then they went and added the NH combine to the picture, which appears to be the same NH CR11 they are showing in the collector's edition.
I whana see more from that game for i gone decide to buy it , what i see am not gone buying it
Some of these comments are funny. How do you know what new features are exactly in the game by any of these screen shots?
You don’t. I can’t speak for others, but I get information from blog posts and what’s written in text, which is the same blog post literally every content creator is reading from for these videos.
Science bro. Pure science is how we know.
New map, the house looks like a Cumbrian style building or potentially Yorkshire, though with the lakes I'm guessing Lake District.
hmmm mentioning 2 types of rice? Im suspecting one of those two rice types looks Japanese and has a Japanese taste since Rice is a known staple food in Japan as well as the Asian region.
They stated, " You are too cute to eat" so don't think we are going to produce meat.
“The Stars Align”.. GPS maybe? 🤷♂️
That’d be nice. I’d love to get that as base game without relying on a mod.
Where do go to pre-order the special edition. All I see is the game itself and the one with the one year subscription.
Spinach needs special harvesters and planters ... so maybe some diff stuff there
I can imagine that they most likely already have some harvester brands announced for the Spinach crops which upon release of fs25 we all will find out what those Spinach harvesters will look like quite soon.
Wonder if it will still
Have that giant horizon/ground shadow rendering line that I’m sick of staring at
I liked 22 because it brought production chains and seasons built in. What is 25 bringing other than new crops and maps?
I’m curious if trees will still flash depending on the resolution.
They are finally kicking old gen to the curb, which they should have done years ago. Now there may very well be a chance we get rid of the great circle of doom, as I call it, because when I look at it for too long I am doomed to alt-F4 and walk away. Lol.
Alternate theory about the Central European map. Do you remember in the trailer as the camera was panning in as they eating the rice? The timer on the table was set on 15 and they paused on it. What if, that 15 is a clue indicating FS15? In FS15 I believe Sosnovka was the central European map? I hope we're getting Sosnovka back as a base game map.
I do believe for Europe they do need to just refresh Sosnovka as it has been the most fitting default map for Europe.
GIANTS has confirmed in an interview the European map will be Zielonka
@@FarmerCop Ok. I guess I'll have to give that map a try.
Only reason to switch from fs22 to fs25 is if they add Gleaner there
The only thing im disappointed in, because everything they confirmed sounds great, is that theres no mention of AI tuning or improvements or anything.
I predict we will hear about that more at farmcon :)
its all good new stuff new stuff and new stuff, how about better physic and improving the gameplay and not wait for mods.
Hello! Big like and sub!
I want a Louisiana map for the North American one
It wont be specific to that area but it is based on the US "rice belt" so may contain some good similiarities
@@FarmerCop cool
I am currently refusing to preorder following the KSP2 and Cities Skyline 2 debacles. I am waiting to a stable program.
Understandable, I think it'll be fine tho... Its farming sim.. they always fix it
@xmrskittlex time will tell. My fingers are crossed to for Flight Simulator 24 as well
@@jasonflett7049 yea very similar case tho, they always end up fix that too, I played a bit of flight sim, want to get a Hotas setup before the new one comes out.
@xmrskittlex I am liking construction simulator atm.....building a spaceport
@@jasonflett7049 I haven't played that one yet, been playing some trucking and logistics simulator. Built a driving rig for it
Putting water buffalo's Through The Diary, nice
Sorry i mean dairy
Green beans and Peas. Zoom in on the sessional planting calendar
Excuse me officer, I have a question about fs25.
Can you use mods for fs22 in fs25?
Like if I download the Deere styled A mod for example, will it work on fs25 dispite being a fs22 mod?
Just asking.
So if I have a ps4 fs 25 is no good to me I can't play it ????
No, for them to be able to make the game better they could no longer support old consoles
25 total crops
I’m probably not going to buy this, at least not right away. I only just got FS22 a couple of months ago, and I can foresee myself playing it for years beyond its useful lifespan, just like I did with FS19.
Epic Games will eventually offer FS25 for free or at an extreme discount, most likely in 2028, just before they release FS30.
Still no ursus? 😢
Not gonna happen
Not yet :)
I’ll only stick to fs22 if they don’t bring old on it.
Old gen consoles will definitely not be supported
@@FarmerCop I can imagine since many who like fs22 for the old gen console support will be sticking to that.
No more animal “pens”. Instead stables
Heeeey i play on xbox, got over 100 hrs on fs22 looking for some people to start a fs25 server with, anyone interested?
Very nice, crops no one asked for. Another gimmick like sugarcane or cotton - people will play around with it for a while and forget it exists. Clearly it's all about releasing dozen of DLCs with dedicated equipment. I expected at least some serious graphic changes but this improvement looks like a joke. Slightly upgraded game that's nothing more than a cash grab.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hope you eat that opinion.
Mostly, every talk crap about the next fs than they buy it after a few months of it being out. You are one of those people, aren't ya?
Yeah, they always make the trailer look way better than the actual game. Stupid why don’t they just advertise the actual game because that’s how they trick people make it look good and juicy.
That’s called marketing, and it’s nothing new.
Releasing a cinematic trailer that is not actual gameplay is common practice in the gaming industry AND they have released multiple screenshots from the game itself
I don't think I'll be buying it
Judging by the screenshots we are going to get the same game once again. No changes to the graphics engine, no 3D soil. What a disappointment.
They did list terrain deformation on the blog post. I'm hoping for a big reveal which would explain the flat terrain as a placeholder in the currrent images
@@ZeroFocu5 I'm hoping for a change in that aspect, even if it is going to be a minor one. How mamy times can we get the same thing over and over again?
So don’t get it 🤷🏽♂️
Once again, bringing stuff to the game, we already have in 22 I’m not buying 25. What is Giants software on these days?😂😂😂😂
Yup because we have rice, irrigation, spinach, water buffalos, the latest tractors, the new graphics engine, ground deformation, fog, thunderstorms, and an East Asian map is in fs22. Wtf do you mean that stuff is in fs22? Even with mods you can’t get most of this stuff.
It’s the mods that’ll make it worth it. As always.
Ok have fun, bye. I am buying
@@rossieharman2560eventually game move past the old gen consoles, that’s with every game lol older consoles can’t handle the newer graphics, that’s just common knowledge
@@rossieharman2560 how do you plant rice with that rice map? Do you use a regular planter? I’m not educated basically at all in rice farming so I don’t know if you necessarily need a specialized planter like in the trailer
