I have travelled through Budapest airport hundreds of times in my life and thus had a chance to explore it. In this video I share with you my closely guarded insider tips to decrease stress, save money and time and to avoid the crowds upon arriving to or leaving from Budapest airport. I show you a great SPAR supermarket, a Vodafone mobile shop, a little post office, the public transportation and tourist information points. I point out a great trick you can use to avoid the crowds (go through security at the less crowded other terminal). In the transit zone, I - among others - recommend a nice confectionary shop. I tell you where to buy your water for cheap or where to fill up your plastic bottle. As a truly insider tip, I show where you can find a public phone, that has an unlisted number that I know (and tell you in the video!!!).

This is such a nice video. We are Slovaks flying 3 times per year route Budapest - Cairo and all what was said in video is true. I can say stewardes are such nice people, they put you always to fast track when with kids, which is handy for other travelers to not be disturbed and also kids are always moving so not get bored and irritated. We always buy Hungarian paprika on the way , thats the best ever and well recommended. Disadvantage is that many shop listed at the airport are hard to find. If you can make closer guide over the airport where to find which shop it would be perfect. Big thumbs up from new subscriber

Hello I want to make a trip from Albania to Budapest and then Budapest to Barcelona. I have scheduled the flight by myself and I don’t have luggages with me. I have 02:00 hours in between to catch the Barcelona flight. Are the distances between arrivals and departures room far ? How many passport checks will I have to make ? And are 2 hours enough?
