What’s amazing to me, ATL gave Kirk “1 playoff win” Cousins $180M after he cleaned up $300M largely in Minnesota mediocrity at 63-63 without his 2022 13-4 season. Yet people want Dak Prescott, with more playoff wins, and a 73-41 career record, out of Dallas. 👈🏻🤨🤨🤷♂️
Because Dallas fans are delusional always in win now mode. Dak should leave let them go get a rookie to trend water just to become the jets and giants
To be fair Dak has had a much better team with much better weapons and hasn’t performed demonstrably better
I wonder if this lights a fire under Kirk Cousins, drafting Jordan Love sure seemed to light a fire under Aaron Rogers. Love drafted in 2020 and Rogers' stats 70.7CMP%, 4,299yrds, 48TD's, 5 int's, 121.5QB rating. 2021 Rogers' stats 68.9CMP%, 4,115yrds, 37TD's, 4 int's, 111.9 QB rating, 2022 Rogers' stats 64.6CMP%, 3,695yrds, 26TD's, 12 int's, 91.1 QB rating. Seems like Aaron said to himself, "You're drafting my replacement - fuck you I'm just going to ball out while Love sits on the bench. How do you like that?".

Didn’t the Chiefs draft mahomes when they had (& liked Smith). The Packers drafted Rogers when they had (& liked Farve). Taking a top prospect to NOT rush is better for both the team and player. Both teams won superbowls with the successor. Cousins will be off the team when Pennix is coming on and will have the cap space to then get him help……it’s a smart move.
Neither of those guys were already 24 years old when drafted expecting to sit at least 2 years.
