  • In this tutorial I will show you a modeling workflow of creating a vaulted ceiling in Revit. I am going to do this complex geometry within 2-3 minutes on a very simple, efficient and correct way in Revit.     Thanks so much for this! Just wanted to ask if theres any way to add in materials to the extrusion?

      Of course. You can do it when you enter the mass, or even better you can create material parameter. At the end try Paint Tool as well :)

    thank you. I have a question - my rectangle extrusion in EDIT MODE doesn't show the height of the extrusion in the 3D view and elevation. It shows a flat line. Once I close off the edit mode to see the final product, the extrusion has the height I set up but its not seen in EDIT MODE.

      Hi, you can not see it while you're in the Edit mode. When you add the height of extrusion in Properties Pallete, and click Finish Model, then you will be able to see the height of extrusion in each view :)
