Friday the 13th part 2 would have been a good answer for the “Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome” question.
The girl who survived in the first movie by killing Pamela Voorhees is killed at the beginning of Part 2 by an unseen Jason Voorhees. I believe he jams a knitting needle into her brain through her ear, or something like that.
I never have nightmares that are scary in the "horror" sense. Nono, I get psycological torture where I have what I want in life, and then I get to wake up to not having that. Full on relationships just deleted by the morning light.

Sometime later, Mark gets an Apple Vision Pro for flying on airplanes and immediately regrets his decision after he gets relentlessly airdropped nudes while trying to use it.

In my almost 23 years of life, ive only had one dream. And i dont mean one dream total, i mean every time i dream, its the EXACT SAME DREAM. Its actually been classified as a night terror by my brain doctors.
Anyways, im in a skyscraper penthouse in a new york-esque city. Its storming, hard. Thinder, lightning, the whole shebang. Everyone ive ever lived is there, and theyre all hurt. The building is hallong apart, and i have to try to save my loved ones, while fighting ninjas with a katana, while the building is collapsing.
Ive had that dream roughly once a week for 20-ish years.

I am yet to find a horror/thriller that actually scares me, I don't scare easy, most of the time I just end up laughing and usually at the worst possible moment, if I want to see a horror movie at the movie theater I have to go see it by myself cause my mum refuses to take me to them now cause I just laugh through the whole thing in the worst possible timing
If you ever find one let me know. I'm also on the hunt for a good movie to scare me. The closest I ever came was Coraline.
