Just found your channel while researching hikes in Louisiana! I'm hoping to make it down there over Christmas for some exploring. I'm looking forward to checking out your videos!
@@EricHeber I'm sure it has been but with no good water source I'd think people find better areas. Was glad to see you hike it, love it there. We're going to Sandstone soon.
Great hike! Lots of ruins for sure. 19 miles is a good day regardless of who you are.I can't do those kind of miles anymore, lol. I have a friend who lives near Shreveport and I just told him to check out your channel. He comes up here where I am and hikes in the mountains a couple times per year but needs to find some trails near where he lives.
@@EricHeber I live just up the road in melder if your ever back in the area I can show you some of the ruins that are still standing along with old vehicles still in place as parked.
Great content! Love the Google Map with locations and trail detail. Videos are very helpful. Thanks for all your work. Did you ever film the Kincaid Loop?
I love it there.
Rode my dirt bike many times there but really appreciate watching it being hiked.
Thanks for sharing
Lots of dirt bikes and 4 wheelers on the weekends.
Always happy to see a new LA Hikes Video. You have giving so many plans that I now need time for.
Thanks for watching!
Love y'all your videos

So much history in that area - trails mainly used by motorcycles on the weekends - great video - you need an LSU hat!
Thanks! I’ve tried but they don’t fit 😂
I recently found your channel, great videos. Earned a new sub
Another great video. Thanks for doing so much of the work for us, I plan to visit this trail in the near future.
Thanks for watching!
What a fun hike! I miss you uploading content. Maybe more to come someday? Hope you are well! : )
Thanks! Hopefully get to do some hiking soon and do a video
Been on that trail many times on my atv and never seen someone hiking it
Really? I’ve wanted to know if anyone had hiked these trails.

Thanks man, yeah it took it all out of me that day. Hope to get back soon and explore some more.
Can you do a gear review video. On the items you use on your overnight trips.
Sure someday I’ll get to that.
Great video. 👍
I'm assuming that the big circular wall was a cistern. Also, Claiborne was a POW camp late in the war.
Very cool!
My father trained there when he first went into the Army just before WW II.

Hey thanks! No I haven’t done a separate video for that loop yet.
Also...is that a GPS attached to your pack strap? I'm looking to get one in the next couple months, and wondering how you feel about yours.
You sure this wasn't jean la feet ?
Great video. 👍
Thank you!
