    Youre telling me you didnt use a camera lucida?
    Comparing the images on top of eachother and using software it really points towards this being the case.

      Da Vinci Eye app. Or many others!!!The lines of a designer are bold and strong. drawing and shaky and broken lines clearly shows that he/she is copying the lines. Never an artist draw like this!!!!! At least for professionals

      Wow you're right. I placed the images on top of one another and lowered the opacity of the drawing. The nose, mouth, face, some hair strands, the eyes and even all the INDIVIDUAL eyelashes lined up perfectly. Funny thing about it though is it's still pretty helpful to watch.

    I think the Loomis method only works well when you see a capable artists who already have the talent, use it on RUclips…for a beginner, it’s confusing, vague and practically useless ( unless you actually mark the reference photo itself - in which case you may as well trace.

    Not tryna put you down, you're obviously very talented and all, but the drawing makes her look 10 years older. I think the pencil shading makes her skin look wrinklier.
