Let us pray for Bishop Robert Barron and all priests around the world. Let us pray that they continue to deliver Christ's messages to us. Let us pray for them to be delivered from evil and their health, because they are also human beings at the end of the day. Thank you Bishop Barron i love listening to his messages and advice. It has helped me so much with some if not most of my struggles in life, and to continue to follow my faith in this world full of sin. Thank you so much.
sciencetrumpsfaith I rather put my faith in Jesus Christ than human flesh. Flesh can fail me anytime of the day. Where as Jesus talks about hope, love, peace, and salvation. People say science is the way? I love science so interestingly beautiful, but it can still fail me. You see what goes on in this world is our responsibility as human beings. God is in charge of what goes on above. He loves us so much he inherited this world to us, but sadly were tearing apart because there is no prayer. So therefore i refuse to minimize God to a source of hes just a prophet, or hes just a teacher of love. He's my hope when the world turns on me.
sciencetrumpsfaith Well it is a free country at the end of the day so go ahead and excersice your freedom of speech and believes but as for me he's been in my life for a while now and he has continued to bless me and my family so therefore i will never turn my back on my faith and i sure as heck won't change my lifestyle to the way it used to be just because some people say think he doesn't exist lol he's my hope through prayer if he can change my way of thinking and surroundings he can do the same for you. I love my Catholic Church and its so great it even excepts the critics like yours and converts them in an unbelievable form.
Thank You Bishop Barron. "I am the smallest of creatures and I recognize my worthlessness, but I also know how hearts that are generous and noble love to do good."😇St.Therese of Lisieux 🙏🏻4us
There are some people on here denouncing the Bishop, as a heretic. However, I'll say that I was brought to the Church by his Catholicism Project series and was enriched by his commentary on RUclips. There are enough people who are very firm in their denouncing of sinful behavior in our society. Bishop Barron takes a gentle approach and he stands firm with the Church's teaching. However, he would rather put forth the less controversial topics and appeal to folks by talking about love...which is central to our faith. If you watch his Rubin Report, he does talk about the importance of traditional marriage but doesn't harp on it. There is a time and a place for it all. I think that I would have been a little put off by the depth of all our Church encompasses if it was "in my face." Instead, I've come to understand Her teachings and the why behind them...in total alignment.
Unfortunately, my experience with Priests, Brothers, and Nuns throughout 10 years of Catholic School (just like Barron) led me to leave the faith at 17. Our Lady brought me back. I have been an autodidact for the last 20 years. I learned absolutely NOTHING about my faith. Everything was relative.

But instead of coming to Him for life, you're trying to set yourself up as the authority (one without any real knowledge at that). He does mention places with the Spirit of Gehenna, of the mass, and if we're honest, even Fatima (I'll give you a hint on this one. Hey, what's up with the Chilean child abuse scandal? Here's a quick review of some recent pedophile stuff your team has done, to assist the underprivileged youth of Chile, in the hopes of "converting" them.....hmmmm Archdiocese of Santiago José Andrés Aguirre Ovalle, aka "Cura Tato", was found guilty of nine sexual abuse charges by the highest court of this country. In 2004 Aguirre was sentenced to 12 years in jail. At the beginning of this trial, the Catholic Church was sentenced to pay 50 million in damages to the victims, but then this sentence was revoked by the supreme court.[133] Ricardo Muñoz Quinteros, priest of Melipilla, was charged in 2010 with eight cases of sexually abusing minors, including his own daughter. Quinteros is also being investigated for producing pronografic material involving children.[134] In 2010, the Catholic Church began an investigation into sexual abuse allegedly committed by Fr. Fernando Karadima, after four people came forward with allegations of abuse.[135] He was found guilty and convicted by the Vatican in 18 February 2011. He was sentenced to a life of prayer and penitence, banned from any contact with his ex parishioners and forbidden to perform any priestly ministry in public or private except for mass by himself. He is currently living in a home for seniors where the Archbishop of Santiago put him under the care of some nuns. Karadima still does not acknowledge any wrongdoing after several testimonies helped convict him.[136] Diocese of Valparaíso Eduardo Olivares Martínez, was found guilty of a five sexual abuse against underprivileged minors. In 2006 was sentenced to 3 years in jail and to pay 15 million pesos in damages.[137] In 2010, Juan Henríquez Zapata was indicted for using minors for sex services.[138] Diocese of Rancagua Jorge Galaz Espinoza, former Director of El Pequeño Cottolengo, was found guilty of repeated violations against two mentally disabled minors. In 2005 Galaz was sentenced to 15 years in jail. Diocese of Punta Arenas Jaime Low Cabezas, was found guilty of a sexual abuse against a 15-year-old minor. In 2009 Low was sentenced to 3 years in jail. Víctor Hugo Carrera, was found guilty of a sexual abuse against one underprivileged minor. In 2005 Carrera was sentenced to 541 days in jail and to pay 2 million pesos in damages to the family of the victim. The case involved the bishop of the diocese, who was accused of protecting Carrera and facilitating his escape to Bolivia, where he lived for two years.[139]
If only he would stand up for the true Catholic Church and admit that homosexual lifestyle is wrong, a grave mortal sin. Or, that freemasonry is destroying the Church from within. Or, that Martin Luther was a raving mad lunatic that doomed billions of souls to hell. He is definitely of the church of nice, just like Michael Voris exposes.
Thank God Martin Luther set us and the Word of God free from the corruption, lies, pedophilia, and false teaching of the Catholic system, what a debauched train wreck! Oh and it is the other way around, but Satan always twists things, the CC has/is taking millions of unregenerate Catholics to hell, read the New Testament and compare the teachings of the true Christ with the false Christ of the Catholic Church, which is a blasphemy to God and they preach a false gospel Galatians 1:6-9.
When I listen to Bishop Barron, I see a priest who is a captive of his abstract intellect. He actually believes that in preaching on the early church and the martyrs, he is preaching the gospel, but that is a mistake. Those early Christians who lived their faith and died for their faith, what made them so compelling, and over several centuries converted pagan Rome? Was it because they did what the bishop is doing, talk about the "early" church? Obviously not, since they were it. This is what intellectuals like Bishop Barron don't get. Why? Because they are ruled by their abstract knowledge. Those early Christians, who stayed the course, lived lives of great spiritual depth, from their living souls, their passions, their commitment to Christ and His church, no matter what the cost. All I hear from his Excellency are empty words. Not that they are not true, they are. Alas, his Catholic faith is weak, and he has the conceit to claim that he is not a "spiritual mediocrity". But he is. His faith is so compromised, so watered down, that It's embarrassing. And he doesn't recognize his own personal tragedy, the unfortunate circumstances of a church gone astray that he was born into. And to add insult to injury, he claims he is afraid the church will become "anti-intellectual", because of the mass apostasy of countless millions of Catholics who reject abstract doctrine. But not a word from him about our undaunted Pope Francis, who makes no bones about what he thinks of doctrine; he doesn't give a damn about doctrine. I didn't like him when he was Fr Barron, but I've come to like and respect him, in spite of his compromised Catholic faith. He is clearly sincere, kind, and a gifted intellectual, but his faith is weak and deep down compromised. Which is really the story of the whole church today, with very few exceptions. The bishops, cardinals, popes, are all morally compromised. No one seems to have a deep understanding of the ominous reality of Original Sin any more. The true condition of the Catholic faith today, apart from the Trads and the Progressives, is polarized between the teachings of abstract doctrine(witness journals like First Things and others)with their academic preoccupations that have little or nothing to do with the living heart of Catholicism. The other polarity is a fascination with sappy Protestant praise and worship, that never gets beyond subjective feelings. The Alpha program and the Charismatics come to mind. The Catholic Church has great spiritual riches just waiting to be tapped, which would certainly benefit Bishop Barron and all those intellectuals who live the faith as best they can. But don't recognize the heart and soul problems that guide their lives.
Tom Healey To say the pope does not care about doctrine is simply asinine. And to say that the abstract things the bishop says are useless is plain wrong. Have you ever heard him talk about the seven virtues and vices? Do not tell me that is abstract; that is very very practical. If you are going to criticize someone because they bring a sort of intellectual abstract side of the the faith, then you are going to have to say that figures like Paul, Aquinas, Bl. Newman, G.K. Chesterton, and many others were useless to our faith.
Just because he does not talk about pope Francis , it does not mean that he is agreeing with him. As a Bishop, it would be VERY improper to be negative openly, about the pope. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. His talks are about the Faith and till now I have only heard inspiring speeches from him. Pope Francis is clearly not doing the right thing and he is most probably one example of the wolves in sheep's clothing which Our Lady spoke about in Fatima.
"This is not the time for anti-intellectualism in our church" spouts the bishop. Yet he has just given the most unintellectual interpretation of perhaps the most untruthful, and in fact immoral, and amateurishly written, book in the New Testament...Acts. Acts is, in fact, an embarrassingly bad piece of 2nd century Roman Christian anti-Semitic propaganda. The book of Acts was written to link the writings of Paul, who promoted his resurrected Christ story, with the story of the Jesus of the Gospels, despite the fact Paul had never met Jesus. It was made out that Paul was good mates with James, Jesus' brother, and Peter and John, Jesus' disciples. Yet the reality was something very different, as it is clear from the events described in Acts and Paul's own writings that the two groups were diametrically opposed to each other, and in fact hated each other's guts. Secular historians are also very aware that throughout the first and early second century there was a protracted war between Israel and Rome. Sometimes that war broke out in military struggles, and at other times it was a cold war of attrition, and we see an example of this in the philosophical battle between the Nazarene's Judaism and Paul's Christianity. The author of Acts tried to smooth over this glaring difference by claiming that the two parties were fiercely united. He also made a concerted effort to badmouth the Jewish religion and people. He made out that Paul's Christ story was the new and improved reinterpretation of Judaism, and that Jesus' family and followers were Christians (as defined by Paul.) In reality the original followers and family Jesus were not Christians, but fundamentalist, sometimes militant, Torah observing Jews ( Nazarenes.) The author of Acts had Jesus' ghost appear to Paul on the road to Damascus, a story which was pure fiction, as Paul never mentioned it in any of his own genuine letters. The book of Acts also turned Paul into a miracle worker to bolster his credibility. We know this was a fiction, as Paul, desperate to make out he was credible, never mentioned his own miracle working prowess in his own letters. Acts made out that the lowly Nazarene's, who were fundamentalist Jews, needed a bit of spit and polish by learning about Paul's Christ. The author had Peter badmouth his own people, the Jews, a highly unlikely scenario. The book of Acts made out that thousands of fiercely pro Jewish militant Jews in Jerusalem converted to Christianity...an obviously contrived scenario for which there is zero evidence from secular historians. Interestingly, Acts says nothing about Peter setting up shop in Rome, which must really annoy the bishop, as he likes to claim Peter was the first Roman pope, an idea that is an outright lie from his church. It is also clear from the book of Acts that the leader of the Nazarene's was James, not Peter, a fact that also must piss off the Vatican. The whole book of Acts is one big chunk of pro Roman pro Christian propaganda that made a weak attempt to explain the origins of Christianity. The real truth was that Christianity sprang from the fertile mind of the mischievous Paul, not from the flesh and blood character Jesus, or from his real family and followers. The Bishop quite clearly knows none of this, or if he does, which is more likely, he ignores it. I don't think he is naive enough to have swallowed the Acts story without questioning it. I doubt he really thinks Acts is "Luke's great masterpiece." Either way he is at fault for not being intellectually honest. Christians in pews deserve to know the real history, and many of them do. This is one reason people are leaving the church for intellectual reasons. Promoting a religion that is not based in truth or reality is immoral, and benefits no one other than the church. Yet the truth about this is never going to be admitted by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, because the historical reality totally undermines the very legitimacy of Christianity, and in particular, Roman Catholicism.

He is currently living in a home for seniors where the Archbishop of Santiago put him under the care of some nuns. Karadima still does not acknowledge any wrongdoing after several testimonies helped convict him.[136]

If only he would stand up for the true Catholic Church and admit that homosexual lifestyle is wrong, a grave mortal sin. Or, that freemasonry is destroying the Church from within. Or, that Martin Luther was a raving mad lunatic that doomed billions of souls to hell. He is definitely of the church of nice, just like Michael Voris exposes.
row1landr yes Martin Luther was truly evil, completely deceived!
Ummm.... Martin Lither damned billions? Yeah, is there any actual proof you have of that? Or are you the one who judges at the pearly gate?
And you don't know it.
He doesn t need to speak out, everybody knows it already nothing new.
Chesterton, and many others were useless to our faith.
tim spangler AMEN!!
Whaaaaaaat haven't you heard Dave hunt that's every bodys job but his. LOL
Tom don't be fooled Barron is a complete Modernist.
Bishop 'heretic' Barron
Barron is a complete Modernist.
He made out that Paul's Christ story was the new and improved reinterpretation of Judaism, and that Jesus' family and followers were Christians (as defined by Paul.) In reality the original followers and family Jesus were not Christians, but fundamentalist, sometimes militant, Torah observing Jews ( Nazarenes.)
The author of Acts had Jesus' ghost appear to Paul on the road to Damascus, a story which was pure fiction, as Paul never mentioned it in any of his own genuine letters.
And you know all that because.....? You actually follow your own antichristian preachers
