      Selfing wouldn't be of any use because we would get a resistance variety but characters of A won't be there... It would be a waste of one year.

      We make 99 percent original gene of the plant and only 1 percentage gene is rust resistance gene. We do only selfing we can't make a original gene in the new variety. So we done a 5 to 6 time backcross

      because F1 generation me sirf dominant gene hi express hota hai, or is case me disease resistance recessive gene se control ho rha hai, to F1 me sabhi plant disease susceptible milenge. or jab disease resistant plant milega hi nhi to ap selection kis plant ka karoge.
