I've owned the FX6 for the last 2 years and literally the only thing I could want additionally would be 6k acquisition, but with AI upscaling being so good, there's little to no justification for upgrading to something else just because it's newer. All of the reasons I bought this as an A cam upon release are still present -- autofocus that can be trusted for events, low light sensitivity that makes doc shooting with available light a breeze, and the electronic ND. I find myself wondering if I need to upgrade my B cam to match the FX6 more often than I wonder about needing to replace the FX6!
Fat enough, from my point of view tho, if a mark 2 arrives, just makes more sense investing in that even tho the fx6 would be still an incredible piece of gear. From your point of view, wouldn't.
8:13 There's no way the FX6 has 3 extra stops of dynamic range compared to the a7sIII. It's the exact same sensor, so it has the same dynamic range (which by the way realistically is something like 12 stops, definitely not 15).
42210 bit at 240mbps which is the same, but it still wont look the same, also the file size and work with XAVCS I is way harder then FX6 files. Not sure why, but it is
@@LucaEpifani XAVCS-I is ALL-I so way less compressed, than Long GOP which is the XAVCS format. Totally get what you mean though. FX6 files are something special
On of your best videos dude! Loved it!
My man 🤍🤌
