  • We are traveling to a part of Argentina nobody visits. Off the beaten track, and difficult to reach. But there we will find some incredible hidden gems.
    We decided against going to Brazil and Paraguay, as the temperatures expected are extreme. Instead we are traveling to the region of Chaco, to the Impenetrable National Park. To get there we will have to drive hundreds of kilometers offroad, pretty tough at moments. But it will be worth it.
    The National Park is free, one can drive with their own car in the park and the camping overlooking the river is free as well. Nuts.
    We are also allowed to walk around and see animals living here, including many Yacaré (caymans).
    Eventually we leave and after hundreds of kilometers make it to the next one, El Rey National Park. This one is a bit different in landscape but w are able to see even more animals.
    Enjoy The Ride!

    Wow - great work filming those rare and unusual animals, guys.
    I had no idea Argentina had animals like that. And the National Park system was so good and free! I know it takes considerable time and effort to reach those more remote areas but looks to be well worth it.
    A person cold be excused for thinking that part of Argentina was in fact, Africa.
    So many similarities!

      Thank you so much! They are really weird looking uh?! We were lucky to see them in a time that our planet earth is screaming for help. The parks in Argentina are a dream, they are really good and organized. Also good connected to one another!
      And yes, some parts really reminded us to Africa. Beautiful ❤️

    That area has recently been opened to the public with the creation of the National Park. Getting to that area is difficult if you do not have a suitable vehicle, there are few services and you can only visit between autumn and spring, in summer it is almost impossible due to the high temperatures and rain. For example, getting there by car from Buenos Aires.takes at least 2 days.

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  8 месяцев назад +1

      It is really difficult to get there without a 4x4, specially with rain. And yes, we were there in the perfect season and had beautiful weather. Two days from Buenos Aires, for sure!

      It is exactly that! Magical. When people show Argentina,they never mention their wildlife in this corner of the country. And we only saw a very tiny portion of them. There are jaguars still in Argentina 😱😱😱 the cayman, some of them well really well fed. No idea what they eat, but we also would not try our luck.

    Greatly enjoy your travels around the world and I am new fun. I am slowly going through your previous episodes. Thanks for bringing us along with you.
    Quick question, how do you manage to get your drone across different countries. I tried once to get a drone to an African country and I met tremendous resistance. Even after completing their required paperwork they eventually said no. I am not certain how you do it. Any advice?

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  8 месяцев назад

      Hey and welcome to the community! Enjoy the episodes.
      We have a mini 2 it’s pretty small and we just hide it somewhere in the car. Put controller drone and battery in different places…
      That’s not possible with a phantom or so… but we also know bikers that bring drones along.
      Don’t ask for permission, in case ask for forgiveness. But be careful would not recommend to risk anything in countys like Iran, Morocco…. Just use common sense

      Hey Terry, there is an overland hack. we have a cheap 100€ “Garmin drive 52” (as far as I remember) with an SD card you can load free open topo maps onto the navigation. It works great!
      The mount is a DIY solution out of a 3D printer.

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's Mate 🧉 the beverage Argentinians drink (also Uruguayans, Paraguayans and some Chileans). It's from the mate 🌿 imagine a tea where you soak it in the cup , at less temperature (75-77°C) and drink it with an special straw with a filter to avoid drinking the mate. It is bitter but really delicious. Normally it is shared with others from the same straw.

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! Absolutely no worries for the question haha. In South America (sor far Argentina and Uruguay) it is pretty easy in comparison to other countries in Africa. This is mainly because there are fewer people here per square meter, so going out of the path and being alone in the forest is pretty easy. Also the infrastructure around the roads is great, so all petrol station have toilets, sometimes even full bathrooms with free showers! So all this makes it easy here. In places like Uganda and Rwanda it was really difficult as you would not find unpopulated places.
