My bargain this week was at😮 Kroger . I got five cartons of 18 count eggs for $1.99 each. It was a digital coupon, limited to five. I bought five. Gave my mom two cartons and kept the other three. I've noticed the price of eggs is creeping up again. Loved your video, Robin. You always inspire me. I would like to make yogurt and kombucha. I'm just afraid to get started. 😅 Blessings from Indiana! ❤

You would be so proud I made your crockpot yogurt it's so good I'm so thankful I found that video I can use that in naan bread and flatbread too. I ate it with granola and pecans yesterday it was delicious.

Aldi brand saltines at my store are $1.69!! You are up to your elbows in food, it’s a good thing! When Costco is out of Kirkland brand toilet paper and paper towels you know there’s a big problem and they are OUT! It’s going to be a bumpy ride. They are trying to downplay the port strike so people don’t panic buy, good luck with that!😂

Your daughter is a blessing, as are your neighbors!! I have tried the lemon enhancer and was also not a fan. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the triple berry, either, so I passed them both on to a friend with teenagers! I like the idea of flavor enhancers as they help me drink more water, so maybe I'll try the acai berry... we'll see! The closest DG Market is over an hour west of here - maybe we'll see one in the future. There is a newer Dollar General down the road east of here and I heard they have more fresh food options, so I'll check them out next time I'm down that way. I'm off to the shops for my own food haul - looking for some bargains! Thanks for sharing, and may your day be blessed!

We just found a DG market near our favorite Oriental restaurant! I found some tubes of half off hamburger which I bought for our freezer. Today using pantry and a hamburger to do crockpot chili.

Robin, you could use some of the Greek yogurt on your tacos to help get rid of it. And I am sure you already know that you can freeze it too. :) Great haul at DG Market, I have never heard of this place before!

I have been shocked at the rising cost of eggs! I recently went to my bulk food store, which is ran by the German baptist. They do have a refrigerator section of meat, eggs, butter, and other dairy products. I went there to check the price of eggs, which are local farm fresh brown eggs. I was delighted to see they were only $3.50 a dozen. They are unclassified, which I think means the size of the eggs are varied so really eggs of all sizes. I usually find a few double yolkers in the carton as well as some small ones. It was a good buy since they were cheaper than local IGA prices as well as Walmart prices. I think you did well money wise for all the things you bought. As always, thanks for the video and I'll look forward to confab Friday.

Is DG short for Dollar General? I freeze some yogurt in ice cube trays and use it to make frozen fruit smoothies.

New subscriber here, do you have Ocean State Job Lots stores or similar? Often one can get honey and oils at lower prices in such places...along with some other shelf stable items. 👵🏻

I find it almost impossible to find normal full fat yoghurt its all light yoghurt
I put honey in the yoghurt as well and is a lot cheaper then buying the flavoured honey yoghurt

Healthy food isn't cheap, and cheap fiod isn't healthy.
