How Nefertiti Looked in Real Life. Nefertiti was the Ancient Egyptian Queen from around 1353BC-1336BC. Cleopatra was Queen of Egypt from 51-30BC. So they're about 1300 years apart.

Nefertiti's family is much more unknown. Theories arose from her being the brother of the current Pharaoh Amenhotep III to his daugther or even a daughter of a unrelated noble. Either way her name means "The Beautiful (or perfect) one has come." A few busts survive of her and the most famous one is her painted sandstone bust that was found in 1913.
She was extremely powerful, becoming co-regent alongside her husband Pharaoh Amenhotep IV/Akhenaten and raised the future famous Pharoah: King Tut.
It is thought that she could have ruled Egypt by herself once her husband passed away.
