Quli qutub Shah's father also married a hindu queen named Bhageerathi but she never changed her religion not Ibrahim persuaded the same. Here he opposed because of difference In societal status. In that era there was no record of forced conversion and all the local Hindus and tribes (gulla or Gola original of Golconda tribes who were basically sheep weavers and relates to it) were much happy , peaceful and prosperous. I am not all in favor of Love Jihad and conversion should stop but none of you have any right to criticise the qutub shahis without knowing their glorious and much peaceful history. Please appreciate that Md. Quli Shah the architect of Hyderabad was a simple and down to earth man. O thank Epic for highlighting this love story where father also bow down on his son insistence on marrying a commoner and never accepting gracefully unlike Samyukta's(the great Prithvi Raj Chauhan's lover and wife) father whose ego got so hurt he made a revenge plan with the villain like Ghori only to get his daughter and great warrior son in law killed in the second battle of Tarain. Wasn't he the catalyst of Islam invasion in India being a Rajput hindu king. His ego was bigger than the religion security but I don't see any criticism against Samyukta's father and here without knowing about the qutub shahis just labelling it as an example of Love Jihad. Quli qutub shah and Bhagmati had a happy marriage and there was no one else in his life other than her being such an old era which was a rarity. I thank Epic to highlight this love story which had only purity and he loved her truly from her heart and this has to appreciated specifically for the qutub shahis.
Don't confuse a love story with jehadi mentality. Why these love stories are only one sided? Why not Muslim girl marry hindu boys? Yes, love jihad exists in those era too.
