You cannot is how Puerto Rico, some Dominican Republic and Jamaica share drum influences from Ghana Cuba and Haiti share drum influence from Mali and Guinea
Tears came out of my eyes when i saw this video. Im proud of being a black man and all its heritage that comes from being Puerto Rican. Theres more heritage in south america. Theres a tribe that plays with drums and bamboos.
+funkster83 The white man stole our gold, our sliver, they killed our fathers and our brothers, they killed our mothers and our sisters, they rape our mothers and our sisters. The only thing they did not destroyed is our colour and our clutures. That is why as you mentioned the drums has similarities regardless of country. These people are our brothers and sisters.
@@Cassius94 Never included Trinidad Orisha Drumming where the Orisha religion widely practices since the days of slavery. The Trinidad Orisha had maintain this tradition with out any contact with the Yoruba religion in Nigeria until recently. There are difference in the practice of the religion because lack of contact as with Cuba and Brazil which also practices Orisha

Thanks for this nice video, I appreciate very much, only the kalinagos of Dominica its very "Africanized" much like their fellow Guarifunas of St. Vincent or Belize, because when looking further into purely Native American cultures have not found the same rhythmic
Thank you Mama Africa! 🙏🏽
