The 273 is a class of motors 273mm in diameter. QS and some others make the 273 in 40H (4kw) 45H (6kw) and 50H (8kw), specifically designed for bicycles, not motorcycles. The way you can tell is the bicycle motors have 6 tiny holes drilled for tiny little bicycle brake rotors, and also have threads on the other side for freewheel. As the magnets get wider, the stator gets wider, the motor gets wider and the dropout size gets wider. The other clue this is specific for bicycles is its spoke holes are for bicycles spokes, not motorcycle spokes. The 273 is also made for scooters/small motorcycles with either spokes (real motorcycle spokes) or cast wheel. These also typically have 3-4 bigger bolt holes for scooter/small motorcycle disc brake rotors. These rotors are thicker than bicycle rotors. The Stealth Bomber style ebike is a crossover, some use the bicycle components, such as the bicycle hub motor shown here, some prefer to use the scooter/little motorcycle motor with thick spokes and beefier brake rotor. The QS 273 is also available in 70H (12kw) for small motorcycles. It is available in 6.0”x17” cast wheel. If Ebike guy buys this motor and puts it on his bicycle, your comment would be correct.
