    2 Koi bhi exam ho Like CSIR NET GATE HO YA OTHER UNI KA PET EXAM (PHD ENTRANCE TEST ) ho apke videos dekhne jaayege to sb aajaywga ekdum short and sweet or easy way to learn it

    carboxylic acid m carbonyle group rasonance m participate krta h O ke saath,jiski vjh se uskii chemical properties m change aajaata h,thats why we doesn,t consider -cooh group as a carbonyle group.

    Oxygen in carboxylic acid doesn't have complete double bond character due to resonance whereas in ketones nd aldehyde, oxygen has complete double bond character

    In Carboxyllic acids or ester's carbonyl carbon is resonance stabilized (o-c=o) hence it doesnt show nucleophillic reactions as in aldehyde or ketones.

    Sir , aldehyde and ketones are undergoes nucleophilic addition reaction so it confirms presence of carbonyl group . But such reaction not found in carboxylic acid .

    SIR but hydrogen does not show inductive effect. Inductive effect show by hydrogen is nearly equal to 0 ????

    because in carboxylic acids or in amides carbonyl group is present as a part of a larger functional group with any other functional group

    Bcoz carboxylic and other group though they contain C double bonded with O but don’t give characteristic carbonyl reaction i.e nucleophilic reaction so not termed them as carbonyl compounds

      Jahaan pr sir nai Cl- joda hai whaan sbsai km hydrogen lagai hai... Check again..Ek hydrogen juda hai aur ek CH3 group... Aur CH3 group walai 3 Hydrogen ko mt gino

    Hey, there is one doubt 9:05 how there is less hydrogen on LHS there are 4 hydrogen s while there is one two hydrogen on RHS
