I just rediscovered this song in my "favourites" folder on RUclips. I used to listen to this while I was still in highschool and it would make me cry and feel so intensely every time. I just graduated college, settled down in an apartment with my first ever romantic partner. When I listened to it just now, I cried again. This feeling never leaves, some things never change. It's an endless, repeating battle. What matters is that I'm still here and I still matter.

Ive hugged him. He was my ex three y ago but when his mum died he changed a lot and Is severly depressed. He tried suicide a few times Just like his mother. And now he Is trying to push me away again and im so sad because the last day we hugged a lot and now he bloked me on social network.
I dont know what to do. One day he told me that he needs someone next to him ,maybe me.
He Is often so angry and I think he thinks that he Is toxic for me and tries to "save me" from himself

Adults think that it’s the phones or internet or music that makes us feel this way, but really those are some of the things that keep us going. They ignore us and think we’re faking so we don’t open up to anyone, no one suspects us to be sad but they don’t know what happens in our mind, and time never heals, we just learn how to deal with it better. YUNGBLUD is a singer that helped me, you should try and listen. I like braindead, psychotic kids, and parents.

It’s hard to survive when your parents don’t want to understand you’re feelings keep comparing with others keeps blaming you until you you start blaming yourself for not being good enough for them starting to hate yourself for not being able to be the person,student,daughter,son they want it’s really hard to survive until they’re every single words they said to you brokes you in pieces and you start get emotionless. And at the end of day they still don’t understand you.

i thought im the only one that is feeling this depression, but sadly a lot of teens also, as a teenager I've been so stressed and felt lonely even if theres a lot of people surround me, my mom always says "you're always at your phone, ur addicted to that, go over there wash the dishes, clean the living room" i just realize that they don't know of how i feel, they just cared abt. My grades at school, and if i have low grades they are gonna shout at me and convince me to stop in studying. Idk. If others also feels this way but, just Stay Strong.

I found this song at a really dark time in my life, knowing absolutely nothing about the artist until mid 2021. This song saved my life so many times and I am just now finding out a lot of this video was filmed not even 5 minutes from my house. That rink is my second home, it's overwhelming. i’ve loved jeremy for a few years now. this song never really had significant meaning when i first started listening to him, and i always thought it was very nice. but now, after being on anti depressants for a week, my grades declining rapidly and therapy on the way i thought no one knew what i was going through. your parents always say that they’ll be with you, your siblings, your friends, but deep down you know that they’ll never be able to understand. but after i watched this video and read all these beautiful comments i finally realized that so many people are going through the same thing i am. for one of the first times i’m crying happy tears. thank you jeremy and thank you everyone.

i am just crying and crying because it makes me so sad to think about all the people who don’t know how wonderful and worth it they are. if i could take my joy and spread it to all you lovelies who are hurting it would all be gone so fast. i don’t know how to help my depressed friends any more than just loving and listening to them when they’re able to talk, but when it comes down to it there’s only so much one person can do to save another from chronic heartbreak.

Not the parents
i really afraid to far away from my home. i really didt want let my dad and mom being alone in their old age but i need to take this decision cause i feel cant breath and doing nothing in that place i just want to them know that i love them more than my self.
I understand what it feels to be empty and alone, even if you're with your friends/family/people. It's hard to live and enjoy life when you're feeling like this most of the time, and it's hard to fight this feeling.

And for the ones who reading this : take care of yourself. I know life is hard, but I promise it will be okay someday.
I feel like depression is more accepted when you have a traumatic childhood or a dead loved one.
When you’re life is seemingly perfect, but you just can’t find a way to feel... Normal. Happy.
And when there’s no outside cause that could of made you feel this way, the only thing to blame is yourself. And that just makes it a whole lot worse.
And it’s just an endless cycle, because you shouldn’t feel this way. You’re so privileged, and so selfish for not accepting that.
I just want someone to understand.
Edit: it’s so sad having so many people agree with me and reply with their stories. It pains me that so many people feel like this, and nothing is being done about it. I know it means nothing from a stranger on the internet, but I love you and you deserve love.

When our parents were kids they too must have thought that they gonna be perfect parents but the definition of perfect changes constantly with time.
What we now perceive as perfect parents may be a nightmare for our kids when we grow up.
So every parent and every kid can try to do their best. That's all.

I mean, for me it's a different story, most of my friends and family have lost many great things and i have had a beautiful life with, really, nothing bad so I try to make them as happy as possible by being goofy or making jokes, and I know it really doesn't help as much as speaking about it but in my country there's this kind of strangeness to feeling sad and speaking about your feelings so i'm trying to make them feel comfortable with telling those things as much as possible

God, my coping mechanism for years..... I used it so much to the point that I've hated my smile up until the last few months where I've finally been able to find real reasons to smile and little things in life to ease the pain. Helping others out of this hole is about the closest I really get to happiness

I haven’t been feeling the best these past weeks. My mental and physical health has dropped. I haven’t been eating properly, I’m doing self harm, and all I want to do is stay in my room. And im just dead inside. You have no idea how much I wanted to tell someone, anyone who is willing to listen to my problems. But I never can. I didn’t even realize what I’m doing to myself until I started crying in my partner’s arms last week. We were hugging and then out of the blue I started tearing up. I’m so lucky to have a partner Iike her, my whole world, and I don’t even deserve her.
But. Thank you for this song, the song that told the story of many people who also feel depressed.

Luna Shadow Don’t let that stop you. You can’t predict the future but don’t let that fear stop you from having children. They can be the best thing that’s ever been in your life. Yes, there is a chance they can go through a similar thing, you would just need to have a talk with them when they become a teen. Having kids is your choice but if fear is stopping you, you just have to overcome it ❤️

I don't think I can raise kids when I'm so emotionally unstable so I'm gonna save them the misery. I think my parents have some sort of problems, and that made me the way I am so nope. I don't want them to feel what I feel.
@i cut my wrists uhh sis, but I used to want kids (or adopt) because I'm determined to raise them well but after I'm a bit matured I don't think I can do it. I can try hard but it's in me so it's bound to burst out so I don't want to do that to them.

The reason why that happens is because most of people who’s say they have depression don’t. If your not diagnosed with it you don’t have it. There’s a different between feeling like shit and being depressed
Obi-Wan Kenobi can I have ur opinion on something, I spoke to a doctor after taking a test who believed me to have depression and wanted me to get a diagnosis, I said no as my mom was there and I don’t want her to know how u feel, do I consider yself depressed? I haven’t spoken to anyone so I really don’t know
@@beaumcc6401 Is there any way to tell your mom that you want to go to the doctors office alone to do that test? I mean, getting therapy and treatment, how stupid it may seem sometimes, really helps and I think you should try at least. Or just talk to your mom in a serious manner about your feelings. Im sure if she really loves you she'll support you. Ive stayed quiet for far too long as well, I got depressed at 14 but didnt get diagnosed till 18. im 20 now and im happy to say that ive been suicidal free for 2 or 3 months now, despite whats going on. All because i seeked help.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is having a diagnosis some sort of “certification” or something? You don’t need a diagnosis to know you have depression. I have a diagnosis but I knew way before that I had depression. The diagnosis doesn’t give you depression, you already have it and you can feel it.
