Clementine was not a caster. All the 'spells' she did were martial abilities.
confused skill with spell, martial artis class like monk, etc with magic class like necromancer,etc haha
She had limited access to spells that were stored in her daggers

in the novel there was no "snap" when clementine died, he slowly squished her to death while she gradually stopped struggling, it was also described how she started vomiting and her organs could be seen in her mouth

@@isaacdayton4962 I mean... Nothing was ever shown in the novel. It's all words. Everything is described. I get what you mean, yes, it was described through the intermediary of a character talking about it.
"Momonga" was his character's name in Yggdrasil. He changed the name he goes by in Episode 4, from his character's name to the Guild's name, in order to make it more likely any other players sent to this world would recognize the name and seek him out (the guild was the strongest in their server, and several members were among the best in the world, most notably Touch Me).
Everyone loves Aoi Yuki VA.....as she voices Clementine, Tanya, Tatsumaki, Kumoko, Tamaki, Tsuyu, Hibiki, Komachi, Madoka, Mina Tepes and many more but those are my favorites....

The name of the Character (the skeleton) is Momonga, Ains Ooal Gown is the name of the Guild he's part of and he has decided to take on this name as his own to spead the name of the guild in the hope people (other players) will recognice it, as the guild is one of the most famous Guilds in Yggdrasil. However we all call him Bone Daddy ofcourse
You can't cut a bone dragon with a sword, so it makes sense to keep it in it's scabard and use it a a blunt beatstick.
But this is also anime, where swords can cut literally anything

Momonga is his character name from the game, he changed his name to Ainz in the New World in case there are other players around, because they would recognize his guilds name immediately. His real name is Suzuki Satoru.
Ainz is literally not trying with Clementine. She's strong for this New World but he could lie down and go to sleep and she probably couldn't even hurt him, he's got high-level damage reduction that he usually turns off to allow attacks to actually land on him. He's not underestimating her, Ainz is crazy cautious, he never underestimates anyone.
9:40 Nazarick has normal low-level maid NPC's; on the other hand Narberal Gamma is a member of "Pleiades" - six (or seven) battle maids, plus butler Sebas. In the context of Nazarick they are "mid", much weaker than the Floor Guardians, but compared to the people of the New World, they are still insanely strong. Narberal Gamma is level 63/100, while Khajiit was probably barely hitting 20s.
It's the thing a lot of people dont fully understand when watching the anime first. (Which isnt really their fault as the anime doesnt explain the power levels well. Though they usually figure it out in season 3) Is that the denizens of Nazarikck are so far beyond even the most powerful people in the world, they may as well be gods.
Yes, the opening never fails to get me hyped. In fact all 4 openings gets me hyped. And yeah, as much as i love Clementine and her VA, she really deserved the slow death she got (in the light novel she literally gets slowly crushed and squished).
A nerdy bit of info here. Narberal Gamma casted Maximized Twin Chain Dragon Lighting. Twin is a prefix that doubles the spell that is about to be caster, while Maximized means it ensures a max dmg hit, but chain dragon lighting is a 7th tier spell.

2:48 I'd argue the "Overlord has bad cgi" is mostly from season 3, where it has some pretty subpar examples of it. The other seasons are all fine about it.
Season 2 has them as well but it's irrelevant in the face of great storytelling, like GL's original Star Wars trilogy.
Martial Abilities/ Warrior Skills… kinda like spells that don’t rely on magic gained through study.

Yes it's slowly and steady world building story. You'll recognise it once you get to the season 2 and 3, it becomes intense for sure.
If you remember the group clementine killed had a black short sword as their group symbol untill they find the real one, And Ainz said if Clemenjuice was weaker he would have killed her with the that exact weapon. just some nice details.

You’re never gonna get fully immeresed in the Overlord universe with just the anime I’m just gonna say straight up. If your really want to I suggest picking up the light novels.
You can get immersed in the anime.... but you'll have that itch in the back of your mind wanting to know more. And even if you read the LN, it's still not enough. Even minor things that's just a passing mention gnaws on your mind, like who are the 5 worst? What do they look like?
Overlord good cgi .. the bone dragons, deathknights and ogres (ogres are bad, but imo, the bad cgi makes those ogres rather unique) .. overlord medium cgi .. normal skeletons and other summons.. bad cgi every single army ..

madudes let me tell you if you are a shonen fighting anime fan that likes to turn off your brain and watch the fights with pretty colors this aint the anime for you tho overlord does have good fights its not the main meal thats more like a side dish the main meat and potatoes of overlord is the incredible world building and deep lore of every little single thing every item and side character like theres a full page for the goblin D goku
