I want this to be played for when I die
Perfect theme for when being confronted by some heroes and some villains based on my actions.
I'm so glad this game went for emotions instead of cheap edgelord scares. It's honestly the only mascot horror game I've ever played where I actually cared about the story and the characters.
I think that has to do with this game not taking itself seriously! Unlike other horror games, it doesn't try to be overly gory or filled with nonsense lore.
The puppets are just alive - no stupid experiments or nothing - and instead of trying to kill you, they're just attention-starved!
This child-friendly freaky fun is what I think mascot horror should be! Instead of trying to be like Poppy Playtime (or any other horror game, really), they should be like Courage the Cowardly Dog: silly, with a side of freaky!
It would help give some variety to videogame horror if this game was the standard!
(And to some extent, Garten of Banban. That game is hilariously absurd!)
@@PolarExpression1225 I think it's the way you said it is because it takes itself seriously. Like you said, it doesn't need a goofy backstory or deep lore, this is just a world where puppets are alive. Stories don't need to be complicated; you really only need to give as much detail as the story needs to work. Take Indigo Park, another (so far) great example of what mascot horror should be: maybe there's some deep lore behind why Rambley is sentient, or maybe it's just a world where AIs are sentient and it's nothing new.
@@ScrambledAndBenedict Never saw Indigo Park. I just assumed it was another Poppy Playtime knock-off. How does it compare gameplay and content wise?
This fits so well
I hear a bit of Erik Satie in this one
What a thrill........
With darkness and silence through the night... 𝅘𝅥𝅮

I haven't even played this game for myself, but it still holds very high importance to me. I really want it badly...
