Hey man thanks for your videos your information helped me help my grandparents finish what they started when they tried to tumble the rocks we always get from the North Carolina mountains they tried to follow the directions on the raytech vibe they bought for tumbling and polishing and it was a terrible experience for them now I’ve helped now that I’m older and you instructed it all we got a nat geo rotary and I follow you step by step and we have already had amazing results compared I just wish we had such cool tigers eye and jaspers and agate 😂 we have a lot of quartz and aventurine and a couple garnets sapphires and ruby we really want to reveal the beauty of those ones is the process different for them?
@@derpling7403 the process should be very similar except those rocks you mentioned are harder and will take longer. Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad I could help
Helpful video ... thanks. How many pounds of rock and media do you put in the tumbler? or do you just go by volume ? I have a RT10 but things look pretty much the same.
Hi, I love your channel! I look forward to your videos. I am from Utah as well and was wondering where you recommend is the best spot to find quartz?
Hmm I don't really know the best. Its literally everywhere. I like to look in creek beds in big and little cottonwood canyons
Awesome
Thank you!

I never, ever weight anything. Just fill 2/3 to 3/4 and call it good
