Tiesto caters to the new genrations. Hes a Dj more than a producer. I used to think like you on this subject. But now that hes left his old Tiesto years behind him, then all of a sudden plays a classic track in his sets makes it 10x better 🥳

When tiesto was respectable, pushing forward, growing the scene…. By the early 2000’s he became so cringe. I don’t know why people still class him as a top DJ. Please feel free to explain. He was such a legend.

There is a fact that most don't seem to notice in statements like this and yes, I do agree with your view. Do see things this way, even if he "didn't sell out" the music style of that time would not have sustained up till now those skilled producers who played an integral part of the movement and the crowd that went along with it, moved on with their lives, had families ultimately spending time in their private life, shifted attention to more important things. It would take a nation of millions to shift attention not just Tiesto, before Tiesto people were already making future music he just played the records.
Tiesto Sold out to make Pop Music and went pure mainstream to produce big Cheese music I’d say he doesn’t listen to shite he brings out the best Chart DJ Now

Seen him live so many times at Inside Out in Glasgow and in my eyes he’s a complete legend and a tip DJ 💙
