I’ll make a summary about how you can optimise these different automations. A general thing that you can do for all of the machines with a pattern provider that attaches directly to them is to use Applied Flux to transfer Power through the pattern providers.
    1 - Furnace Optimisation
I use two different import methods. One involves a pattern provider at the back (with auto import/export enabled in the Iron Furnaces' settings), and a barrel/chest on top with an ME threshold bus. This bus can be set to automatically place items in the barrel when the quantity in your AE2 system exceeds a certain amount. This also allows you to put multiple stacks into the furnace without being restricted to a set number of slots. For mid/late game, you can change the patterns to craft multiple items at once, which (at least for faster furnaces) reduces processing time, as the pattern provider exports more items per cycle.
    2- Hostile Neural Networks
Both early and mid/late game setups don't need to be automated with AE2 at all and can be done passively if desired. To do this put a crafting card in an ME Interface with predictions as one of the storage options, and then use Integrated Dynamics with an Item Importer attached to the ME Interface. Place Item Interfaces on each of the simulation chambers and an Item Exporter attached to a barrel/chest as a buffer. On the loot fabrication side, use an Item Importer attached to the barrel/chest, Item Interfaces on each of the Loot Fabricators, and an Item Exporter attached back to the interface. The only variable cards that require programming and can't be placed in the import/export setup are the Item Exporters for the Loot Fabricator side. You'll need to create a list in the programmer's list section, with two variable cards containing a list of the four generalised predictions (Overworld, Nether, Ender, and Twilight). In the item exporter, enable the blacklist tab to prevent extraction of the generalised predictions. Then, connect a cable from the barrel/chest with the other card so you can extract only the generalised predictions back into the system.
    3 - Mekanism Automation
Advanced AE has an advanced pattern provider that works well with all of the Mekanism machines, as it allows you to choose which sides to export each item to. Using your example, create the Basic Control Circuit pattern in the Pattern Encoding Terminal, then use the Advanced Pattern Encoder to edit the pattern. You can then set the osmium to be added from the adjacent face (where the advanced pattern provider is located) and the redstone to be input from the up/top side. Remove the advanced pattern and place it into the Advanced pattern provider. In the Mekanism machine, you'll still need to set the pattern provider as an Import/Export and the face you chose for the redstone as Extra, and then it will work.
    4- Power Automation
I prefer using Pipez/Mekanism pipes for extracting from the Energising Orb, as there’s less delay between item crafting and extraction. It also doesn't use a channel, which is a minor advantage.
    5 - Mystical Agriculture
Not much to add here but, you could remove one of the input modular routers, as the placement of items on the outside doesn't matter; just use a filter for the prosperity/soulium seeds. Again, this is a minor point.
    6- AE2 Automation
I’ve used both circuit crafting methods, but mainly use Extended AE components, as they're not that resource intensive and are simple to use. Before I knew about the additions to Extended AE added in ATM10 I was just using the Extended Inscribers (4 crafts per inscriber), I used a wall of Extended inscribers with a universal press inside each, and the pattern provider would push items into a barrel with stack upgrades. From there, I used Integrated Dynamics (my preferred method for bulk item transport) to import the diamonds/gold/silicon/certus quartz into those inscribers. Then, the printed circuits were exported back into the pattern provider. This would then push the printed circuit (Calculation/Engineering/Logic), redstone, and the printed silicon into a different barrel, where they were then imported to a second row of inscribers (which were already filled with redstone and silicon, so the amount in the pattern would replace any used).
Loved the video though, keep up the good work.

HOLY SMOKES. I’m going to pin this comment. Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this out. I hope others take the time to read this and it helps them as well!

For the AE2 processors you can use the ExtendedAE machines (circuit slicer and crystal assembler) to make processors in batch way faster and without having a different set of machines per circuit type

I’ll have to look into how to set that up!

@@JohnHall3 Its literally the same as a regular inscriber lol, dw its easy

You dont need the import buss on the furnace if you just do auto eject in the furnace

you can use an advancedAE pattern provider i think its called to automate mekanism machines because you can choose with side it inserts with the special patterns

Dunno if you still need tips on the AE2 inscriber automation, but here is how I do it:
I have 2 inscribers hooked up with one pattern provider each. On one of them I leave a Universal Press (from KubeJS) inside and the patterns I put on this inscriber are for the printed circuits (Silicon, Logic, Engineering, Calculation...). Since I leave that press inside, I just need to encode the pattern with the raw material (for Logic: 1 Gold Ingot, for Engineering: 1 Diamond....).
The other inscriber I leave it empty and the patterns I put there are for the Processors. So for a Logic processor my pattern is encoded with 1 Printed Logic Circuit, 1 Redstone and 1 Printed Silicon
I also don't use the import buses, I just enable the auto-export feature on the inscriber settings. So in the end it's just a dense cable on top of both Inscribers with that small version of the pattern provider on top as well.
    Hope it helps, cheers!

If you want you can use a storage bus instead of the import bus, as it's tps "friendlier" and basicl works the same

just a quick QOL improvment for ur alter, u can put a redstone block under it and it will auto craft what u put on the pedistals

with the energizing orb, except for the nitro, you can place a 2x compressed diamond block and it will give you the 2x compressed niotic block, so you go way faster

I like the setup you have for processors crafting. Found one with 5 inscribers but somehow one constantly pulls diamonda from my inventory, so I'll give it a try with yours. Crafting materials are not a problem, just want to make everything automated for when I need to expand my base. It is really pain when I need to craft manually...

I just found a better way to do this using the circuit slicer and the crystal assembler. This is a lot faster than the one I had here!

If u use ae2 it's perfectly work, but in refined storage it won't work since when u try to autocraft it , it will just craft a gigantic amount crystals every time u try to reach the infusion crystal and make u lost so many resources, bc when crystal get used in crafting , it becomes-1 durability, so autocrafing in refined storage think it's no more able to use it in crafting since when u put the craft it Said a crystal not any crystal with any durability, but ae2 is the goat every single thing work perfectly.
I hope my explanation is good bc English is not my mother language 😊

In AE2 it will work if you allow substitutions on the essence patterns (one of the small squares on top of the recipe on the pattern encoding terminal)

    • @JohnHall3
      @JohnHall3  11 дней назад

Like they mention you for sure can in AE2. Just when you make the patters make sure to hit the button in the middle that says “allow substitutions”.
