My dad had a 91. It had a 5.0 305 ci. It was the first V8 I ever drove. It felt like it would take off and fly. Maybe it was just 16 yr old me lol. Could be the reason I will never own an ev. MAKE V8’s GREAT AGAIN! My condolences.
I lost my Dad 6 years ago, I'm not going to say that is gets easier but I smile when I think about him now. That took a while, I miss him like the ornery devil that he was.
Thank you Issac for making a video in your time of sadness, so very sad and sorry to hear about your father. May each day get better for you as you remember all the good times you had together Bill in Fort Wayne Indiana
You can use the starter off a 4.3 305 or 350 long as it has the same bolt hole location. That's the beauty of sbc. I used a 4.3 on my 350 and vice versa
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a quick flip that puts some cash in your pocket. I could do that all day long. Nice clip at the end, I know it's hard to say goodbye. 😢
It's all good Ida kept the rims tho. Still a great show I always learn stuff from you Ike. Man I busted out laughing when you tried to pull the tester out and it was stuck. Rarely do we see you frustrated. Have a good day bro.
No worries brother, it runs, we all know that…you can salvage a starter, do a massive burnout then get it sold and get another hot rod to revive and have fun with 🍻
I remember when this bodystyle first came out in September 1990 as early 91 models as long as you have the triangle of fire it will run air fuel and spark good video
I think the inspiration for late 80’s and early to mid 90’s Chevy’s was a 2x4 with a brick on top of it. On a serious note I’m sorry for you and your families loss.
You nailed what I would do with it, make some young homey happy with a deal on those hideous wheels and tires. Pull the motor and trans, junk or part out the rest. Edit. Well never mind it’s gone.
Isaac I always look forward to your videos. I may get behind on your videos I always get caught up though. I guarantee that car will definitely be an easy sell
Another great video! Crazy how sometimes the most simple of things are it because they was overlooked being they are actually just that simple! Thoughts going out for you and yours during this difficult time!! Blessings and respect!
Excellent video Issac :) sorry on loss of dad and cherish all good memories had with him plus Lol moments too ! Also Issac yes so wild on Starter stuff so weird and think motor be out truck or 1990's GM vechile and plus could be 1995 Chevrolet Caprice SS motor or Impala on last year of RWD type! Plus if planning put motor Nova have use computer stuff and plus electric fuel pump they block off fuel pump of crank remember hearing!
Bet it's sold by now 😅. Did Charles but it just for the wheels? Always looking forward to Friday and your videos 👍. This Old Man from Washington NC enjoying them. 🛵🧔💝

You did the best thing getting rid of that car. See ya next Friday.. Hopefully 😆. Really appreciate the last clip of the video. Been there an done that it's terribly hard to deal with the loss of your Dad. By the way it ain't got no gas in it..😅
Hmm....the 305 and 350 starter should be the same. Weird. Also, the later model LT1 gear reduction starter should fit as well. Probably has a 153 tooth flexplate passenger cars usually did...the trucks had a 168. For that 350, a 1995 Camaro LT1 reduction starter would be a good upgrade. But since she's sold, who cares?? :D Nice work.
So to think it possibly ended up at auction because it was abandoned when the fuel pump quit. All because of a relay! :) I have a bud that bought a '99 Suburban dead in his work parking lot as it needed a fuel pump, it was rusty and no shop would touch it without replacing the tank and all the lines to the tune of a grand parts and labor (it is a rusty turd with 330,000 miles) but he got it for $400, cut a hole in the back floor and stuck a pump on it. It's survived two more Minnesota winters!
Would love to see Issac build a "Burnout" car with that Chevette outside the garage. Maybe an auction Corvette engine swap to keep it all "Vette" and of course Torque Thrusts
You'll have to find a starter that bolt holes aligns up on engine but make sure the bell housing on starter is small enough to fit into bell housing of transmission did what u did on a 94 chevy pickup different engine different transmission but all bolts together i had to buy a performance starter that the bolt holes aligned up, the housing fit into bell housing of transmission and used shims to get the gear on starter aligned with bolt holes on engine and to fit into bell housing of transmission,..... oreillys sold me the right starter but the housing was not fitting into my transmission bell housing due to different transmission outta a suburban into a 1500 series pickup truck so thats what i did and found the right starter to fit my chevy so goodluck pal, love the videos i been without home internet for week so havent been watching yall and really upset about it I LOVE CARSANDCAMERAS AND ISSAC ITLL BE FINE

When you were filling up, I swear those bottom inner & outer right-hand tail lights were flashing very dimly, which if there's a ground fault would produce issues like that dim test light and gauges not working, as well as dull lighting in general, of course it could just be youtube's terrible compression doing weird things, but it was oddly specific to those lights... :S

The bad thing ike is that the TBI engines have the worst heads ever also the intake is not great. Not sure if it's the best candidate for a swap in your nova.
