I've witnessed many great shows... Early 90s,small auditorium at Burlington VT. George & The Destroyers Fukin Killed It!!! They rocked wide open for about 4hrs without letting up! I am sincerely grateful to George,The Destroyers & The Rock Gods for having been fortunate enough to have witnessed that experience!!!
Oh, for cryin' out loud. "Hammerin' Hank" was the backbeat for so many of George's classics. What made Thorogood and Destroyers stand out from other rock bands is he incorporated the driving sax sound that was the basis for so many '50s rock hits and incorporated it into an updated guitar-based version.
Effing brilliant!
That raw guitar.
