I wanted to pay a little tribute to a short film who touched me some years ago. I fell again on it recently and remember made a cover of its main music last year... And voilà ! I hope you enjoyed it and introduced you to one of my favorite short films.

Je voulais rendre un petit hommage à un court métrage qui m'a touché il y a quelques années. Je suis retombée dessus récemment et je me souviens avoir fait une cover de sa musique principale l'année dernière... Et voilà ! J'espère que vous avez apprécierez et vous avoir fait découvrir un de mes courts métrages préférés

I love that film, everytime I watched it it managed to bring me to tears. Great cover, I can truly picture all of it again !

Just watched the short, it was really good. I adore these short stories and hate them at the same time. Love them because of the always well crafted characters and lore, telling a story in around ten minutes that feels as though it’s decades longer. And hate it because I want more but know It wouldn’t be as masterful if I got what I wanted.
Yeah, I understand that frustrated feeling :') But sometimes a story doesn't need more than a few minutes to say what it needs to say.
Short films deserve to be more often in the spotlight. Many people are not interested in it because they feel that it is too short to get attached to the story or the characters, that they are "without impact" and that we watch it once and never come back... While shorts can actually influence a whole way of doing things for a studio, allow them to practice certain CGI and ultimately influence the creation of animated films/series ! They are so important for this industry and deserve so much more recognition !
Short films allow greater creative freedom or risk-taking on the style or theme addressed, reveal talented creators and unknow process.

I once read a fantasy book about this. Children with infinite potential and their boundless imagination would dream so powerfully, that they'd pull their dreams into reality. For most of them, the children with this power, the children with this power it was harmless. Those with nightmares tho, the insomniacs, the scaredy cats, the bed wetters, those who are afraid of the dark and of the creatures within, well with their thoughts and feelings they could accidentally pull in lovecraftian horrors into our world. It was such a cool concept. I can't for the life of me remember what the book series was called tho.
I didn't know it, but it looks so good ! If anyone remembers the name, I'd be curious to know it too 😊
