A Day in My Life

Hi! This video was filmed on June 1st, but a lot has happened since then.
First and foremost, we are still in a pandemic!! Please (please...) still be responsible with your actions and follow safety guidelines. If we want to keep seeing improvement with this situation, we have to do our part.
Second, I want to touch upon the current events happening today. I am an Asian-American who grew up liking styles, music, and trends that Black culture made popular. I also sadly come from a culture that perpetuates anti-blackness in many ways. I want other Asian-Americans to realize that we wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for them. Without them fighting for the Civil Rights Act of 1964, we wouldn’t be able to mingle with so much diversity today. I encourage everyone to still educate yourselves and others about this matter. Lastly, I think most of my audience are my family and friends who are Filipino lol so I’d like to also bring up something happening in the Philippines right now. There’s this controversial anti-terrorism bill that the president is very adamant in passing. This bill attempts to undermine constitutionally protected rights to political expression and plans to equate activism with terrorist activities. Anything deemed suspicious can get you arrested. I have links below also to educate yourselves on this matter and if you do choose to do so, sign the petition to junk the terror bill now~~
