This is very good at capturing the feeling of the original. I really am liking your music. I wish I could hear it as you originally programmed it. Could you please possibly give us download links? You are a part of a community of great musicians on RUclips. Unfortunately, RUclips videos usually don't do music justice as far as sound quality is concerned, even on higher video settings sometimes. The treble frequently crumbles and the bass is muddied in RUclips videos and even mp3 files. I like to have at least 256 kbps AAC export files, if not .WAV export files. I'm a musician myself and I've noticed that AAC seems to be a pretty solid, reliable format for capturing all the frequencies with near-perfection, but that WAV is a perfect file format. For some artists I don't care as much, but your music deserves to sound as good as possible. Thanks for reading my request, man!
Appreciate you taking the time to comment :). The songs I upload are already in set quality. You have to go to the video settings and set to 720p or 1080p. And once my partnership with youtube grows a bit more I may release an album of my video game song remakes through other online markets. It's quite a journey but I'll get there soon
I would love to download an album of your DKC2 songs (ESPECIALLY Disco Train and Flight of the Zinger). What I meant was that, as I've observed here and on my own channel, even on HD settings I can hear the treble hissing and the percussion distorting. I, for example, usually link people to my SoundCloud where they can download my tracks in WAV, and, if not, in 256 AAC. RUclips just seems to have a way of compressing the music so it doesn't sound as good as it does in the original sound file. It's a real shame.
Hmm. I see. I have not had that issue so far. I had that problem a couple of times when I was simply not able to upload a high quality file. I have a couple songs I did on my channel where I absolutely forgot to bounce the songs as a high quality wave before I uploaded it so once I uploaded it , it sounded eh. But I try to make sure that never happens again
I don't think it was anything you did wrong. It's just how RUclips is. I'm kind of one of those "audiophile" types. If you release an album of your Donkey Kong Country tracks, I would buy it on iTunes.(: If you sold WAVs on BandCamp, that would be even better. I hope you go that route and make some money. Have you noticed Phil Collins also did songs for Disney's Tarzan? I think of that connection whenever I listen to this song which sounds like "In the Air Tonight."
I have a collection of songs that resemble any period of technology in fantasy and science fiction. In this case, Tarzan and DK soundtracks are mixed in with lots of African style percussion for the Tribal Age. Another Disney soundtrack is mixed with another Rareware soundtrack further down the line into realms of science fiction, and I'm talking about Tron Legacy by Daft Punk and Perfect Dark by Diverse.

Your other work is "okay" i guess. But this one is magnificent!!! Lots of emotion in this song. And the emotion is well placed in the song and the instruments and perfectly creating the environment, its really good work this one.

I know you've done some stuff from DKC 3 but would you ever consider doing some stuff from the GBA version? Water World GBA, Waterfall GBA and treetop tumble GBA are some pretty unique songs that could be cool to hear remixed.

The Waterfall Music for the GBA is in my opinion the best music of the Game, i like your request =)
