I'm sorry for your lose but your men handled that suicide mission with honor. The only good ending to mission like this is the ending you achieved commander, there was no better ending.

They likely did.
They just didn't account for me gluing on a bunch of pod size by force level increasers, and a "No max force level" mod lol

@@madmouse4465 The map was taken from the preemptive strike mission before the final story mission where you must destroy the sensor tower/psi network. From what I can see, mixing the no max force with many different enemy mods can have moments where this happens.

the simple word "Gill?" honestly was more heartbreaking than most characters deaths I've seen in film. It is truly amazing to see what great stories RUclips has allowed to be made possible. I know my childhood would have been very different without independent content creators and their stories. (sorry for the essay)
What... the... actual. Fuck. Why is it that the MOCX, the ha-ha-XCOM-backwards-funny-name organization has access to this much firepower, more dangerous troops than ADVENT, and the ear of all three alien rulers in one spot? Their HQ is better protected than the fucking Avatar Project!
I like to think this is alternate universe Xcom, hense it's spelled backwards.
And in that dark timeline XCOM is a *mockery* of their true self aka MOCX and joined aliens. With their human commander intelligence they improved their defences.
And that dark timeline fused with OverEnglishMan timeline.

I suspect the immunity came from "Environmental damage", myself. It's a bit vague as to what all falls under that particular umbrella.

And now the rulers are in play luckily you only need to kill them once, while the berserker is almost dead, archon is 1/3 dead and the viper is lightly wounded
I.... Damn i actually felt every death whit this video specially Gil. You do an AMAZING JOB whit the editing and the videos it self OEM, it is literally the peak of quality over every episode making it not only fun and entertaining to watch but also making you feel every emotion of the moment that passes.

This series has gone from "Haha funny mods" to "In the grim darkness of Xcom there is only war"
The best part is, the implications of "In the grim darkness" themes has been there from the very first episode's *intro* talking about the Time Loop. It just wasn't really the focus at first over the mod hilarity.
Only Idol remains of the original squad...And yet Dickens is still alive...
I swear to god when Dickens died in the original Darkest Dungeon LP he did some Live Die Repeat / Edge Of Tomorrow shit and blended with an eldritch beast.

This was absolutely glorious, boss. The drama! The excitement! The chaos! The plasma! The framerate! This is what I call a blaze of glory, and boy does the effort put into shows!
That gatekeeper going off the building was hilarious
I find it poetic, that Gil was brought down by a critical long range overwatch shot. God speed Gil, for carrying us time and time again. An you mini, for completing the mission and pissing off all of advent so the rest could escape.
That intro alone is enough to make this one a masterpiece.
one question though: How did your templar still have action after getting to the console?
It spent one on invert and another one on moving.
Placing mission bombs for some reason often is doable with no actions, similar to evacing

the bomb immunity might be classified as enviromental damage, so that could be the reason for the 0 damage there at the start
fall damage isn't usually 39 damage from this height.. I guess in a weird way the fall damage was listed first hence immune. not exactly sure... xcom2 is weird some.. often

The 39 was taken by one of the nearby enemies. 39 is over half of her health, and she started with 50. Explosions could be considered environmental damage, but then either whoever made that mod is an asshole for not disallowing it from spawning with vulnerability to explosions or the game somehow bypassed the restrictions.

Greetings from the beginning of the video. So, quick note, the Assassin ISN'T immune to explosions, but explosions in XCOM don't effect things above them if the thing is going to fall/is technically out of range. She's immune to environmentals, and the game only registered her falling from the roof, hence, immune.
EDIT: This also means fire damage, explosion damage, acid, freeze, etc
