Yea, the OG Passive Gila hasnt been forced to change in this update. It can still run T4 Gammas, but its not as comfy, and you still gotta avoid neuts like kryptonite. There ARE rooms that would kill it almost guaranteed, like if you got 5 starving leshaks, but theyre rare enough that the fit still makes plenty of ISK back on itself, only costing about 320M
A little feedback : Perfect Fit. Lost not a single Gila in T3. I have lvl4 Shield Skills and lvl3 to lvl4 light Missile Skills but perfect Drone skills and use +3% shield Implants. T1 Missiles. 671 DPS , 83/s reg, 45900 EHP. In 90 Exotic T3 runs shield never got below 25%. (Wait one time it did as i quickly ran to the toilet) ;-) I overheated not a single time. If you lose a Gila with this fitting it is really your own fault. Even if the capacitor is completely empty due to neuts the shield holds.
You ein exotic with exact this fitting?
@@nalorakkkk Yes, Fierce Exotic T3. But i am a hybrid turret Player so i don't have good Misslie skills. So i have to use the Prototype 'Arbalest' Rapid L Missile Launcher with caldari navy scourge missiles. As he said its important to kill the neuts and to get close to the bigger ship. Also important is the use of Faction Drones in my eyes cause they survive longer althought making a bit less damage in my case.

@@nalorakkkk hehe happens. ;-) Thats why i target the correct exit door when im in the last room so that i don't accidentally take the wrong exit.
Marcus_Berger hey Marcus, any suggestions on how to deal with the abyssal overminds? I’ve lost one exact same gila to an overmind in t3 exotic. Got extremely close, but his tracking was still good enough to wreck me
why is dark not doable i dont see a penalty which would effect the fit ? or do i oversse something ?
Darks aren’t doable with anything other than missile boats. The Gila isn’t ideal for darks because drones do not apply very well
4x rapids T2, 3x Thukker Large Shelids 1x 10MN Afterburner T2, 2x Adaptive Sheld Hardner T2, 1x Damage Control T2, 2x C3-X Hivaa Ballistic Control, Rig 3x Medium Core Defence Feild Purger T2, this set up will do all tier 3 Darks take a bit longer Faction Drones and missiles fitted for Tier weakness, it gets boring after a while though but can clear in ten minutes for Gamma, Electric, Firestorm and Exotic with Dark taking 15 mins Shield never gets past half way.

I just lost my blinky gila yesterday to the vedmak room. :( There were 2 in a gamma T4
great vid, you made T4 Gammas doable for people like me. I did run this ship in T4 Exotics for about 12 sites then lost it in a karybdis room. 2 filaments later I lost another in same room.. Now I'm back to Gammas only again. I did notice Exotics loot was way better, have you found that to be true or just a fluke?

@@TorvaldUruz Fit is listed as T3 in the description and no reference to T4 in the title, may wanna change that. I was kinda confused as this fit should be able to run ANY T3 except dark with no issues, lol.

So has abyss been heavily buffed since this update, every time I do anything T3, it just anhilates me in seconds, with stronger builds and tanks then anything I see people running, I see people with an alpha account doing a phantasm with less skills and weaker fit; basically just standing still and even forgetting to turn on shield booster and they barley get below half shield, I get the same room with a stronger tank same strat or better and I die almost instantly with no chance in hell of the tank ever being able to regen through the damage. I've tried manovering in every possible direction using all sorts of different variations of builds and no matter what it just seems to be utterly impossible to survive any damage room. I've lost around 20 well fitted ships so far any one of which should be able to easily do T3's yet someon
At this point I'm wondering what the heck is going on, based on vids like these I should be able to handle T4's or better, yet T3's are somehow magically impossible. I'm not having issues with targeting or applying damage, I'm just literally insta dying to any high damage room so fast it makes no sense.
what skills do you have? my gila is almost the same fit as this video. I can probably handle t4s with faction extenders, otherwise I'm fine. you should be running a GAMMA site, with at least 19k+ shield hitpoints, with 20-25k ideal. I have a 305 ehp/s tank as well.
Some things to note:

@@4132h Not running a gila, yes I know that since gila's entirly ignore all CC and damage of the abyss it's infinitely easier but that's the issue I'm finding, T3's have such extreme situations that you need to either ignore them entirely, or just be so big and expensive that you can flat tank everything (aka HAC). I don't want to run a Gila because if I'm going to be that afk then I would rather run missions, while a HAC seems like it should be massivly overkill for a mere T3 and indeed I expect I could just run T4+ anyway.
The thing is T2 abyssal I can do in a piece of shit like a badly fit (non T2) bellicose and it's so easy it's a JOKE. T3 I can't do in a well fit (beyond T2) phantasm.. well to be precise, I can do 80% of the rooms so easily they seem like jokes, in fact I can do most rooms in an T2 fit arbitrator or most other base cruisers if I fit them properly, but the other 20% of rooms are basically impossible even after upgrading to faction ships, short of spending another several hundred mill or going to a well fit HAC. In fact you know what's really ridiculace? I tried for awhile to get a non gila non hac to work but no instead I'm about to start doing T3 solo frigate soon, why? It's actually CHEAPER and EASIER then cruiser T3 (mostly due to being much easier to kite everything).
The core problem is that in T3 and up there some isolated spawns have so much CC (e.g. 5+ targets all of which are problematic) that there is no evading it in a cruiser, you basically have to have the raw stats to flat tank and./or DPS through whatever the spawn is, or in the case of the GIla just not be affected by it.

What was your hardest t3 site so far ? Mine was two starvin leshaks and 2 of the webbing leshaks.... your capacitor is empty isnt something you wanna hear on a deimos :D glad i could finish one of the starving ones with some heat on my blasters before hitting structure after that all was fine but before it was very intense spamming my armor rep while hopeing for some cap to come back :D

slighly less regen but almost twice the buffer. medium nos and power diagnostic help against neut pressure
What do you use Kin or Nova missiles?
Depending on the rats! Bring both and after firing a full load, if you’re fighting a bunch of the Ephialtes cruisers, use Kinetic

Yeah I’ve got a few recordings of it with a video planned - it’s a bit rough and I’ve had some troubles but it still works! I’ll have that one out soon

How do you survive the triple/quad starving leshak room? I ran into a 3 starving 1 tangling leshak room in a T3 firestorm... goodbye sacrilege.
This is exactly what happened to me with a Passive Gila. I got absolutely bummed by the Starving Leshak Room. Any advice for both myself and OP on how to deal with it (probably pilot error)...would be appreciated also!
For the Gila you’ve gotta burn directly away and overheat prop mod to get 50+ KM away to not get neuted, and send drones in to kill while you fly away. For the Sacrilege it’s really tough, but you’ve got to do the opposite and burn in to get damage on them as quickly as possible before you get capped out. Drones and missiles on the same target!
@@TorvaldUruz Nice one man! I made the foolish mistake of trying to burn toward them to get under their guns. Ran out of Cap and got stuck at 35km. Was a sad moment but lessons learned! Thanks for the advice!
