- Here is another T5 guide! In this video I use the Gila to run T5 Electrical sites, which is actually quite easy. I didn't realize until after running three sites that I wasn't in the correct mid-grade Crystal pod, whoops! Here's the fit:

This is a great walk-through. I was just having a conversation with someone the other day and we were theorizing that people who knew how to run T5s weren't putting out guides because they didn't want anyone else getting in on it. Thanks for putting this out!

I try to get a bit more isk by looting all the extra cans. I'll drop an MTU at the gate and fit one Heavy Missile Launcher instead of one Rapid Light to snipe the other loot cans as I'm working the rest of the site. It doesn't add a lot of time, but adds more money to your pocket.
a good tip for a veteran ratting expert from null, is to set shortcuts like this: Spacebar - drone engage, and "r" key for drone retract. easy peasy, no menu clicking except for dragging drones out.
Isn't F to engage and Shift + R to retract by default?
@@qwertyb18 it is, and also you can make a key binding for releasing favourite group of drones so all actions you can set on your keyboard :)

I do these in a vagabond, but i like to drop an MTU by the gate while orbiting it and snipe the other loot in the site. Might as well take 30 seconds longer each room and get more isk per filament, you have plenty of time to spare

Why thermal rig and not EM to fill the hole?
I want to ask the same question, is this because it was post the resist nerf? Does EM now make more sense?
What you are reffering too is an Artefact. Caused either when your video card is slowly dying, or when your video card isn't really plugged in right in your PICE, which is really hard to do, so might be a connection issue from your PCIE bus to the mother board. This crap is caused by overheating, or when you pulled the video card without realising the safety.
This worries me because my pc does this too with the weird graphic glitches sometimes happening in the Abyssal Deadspace or Emerging/Minor Conduits
This does appear to be artifacting, and normally I would agree with the cause. In this case however, it seems to be something with the game. I myself get these maybe once a week, and I know my card is fine. I build my own computers and am quite familiar with these issues, and I also play much more graphically demanding games with no issue. Games that run my 980Ti at 95%+ at 70c for hours kind of demanding.
Your videos are awesome dude. I have been watching a bunch of them to improve my abyssal runs. My only thing is how you pronounce Gila (phonetically it's hee-la; like the lizard). Keep up the great work!

agree you're mad to try a AFK Abyss, I lost a 2.3b Gila by a silly mistake.
Torv do i need to use EM ammo like u use now for electric since gila give u bonus for Thermal and kinetic. and also drones that does em damage.

It all depends on which NPCs, your skill level, and if you get the 50 or 70% resistance debuff!
Why are you not loading the Faction Mjolnis Missiles?
T2 does more damage! Faction is better for application on smaller stuff

I run really, really far away from Jita in a 1.0 system
how is this cap stable? i simulated this fit and it caps out in 2 mins. (i have same the same exact atributes as you with this fit)
It’s cap stable with good skills and if you’re inside the electrical site, which boosts capacitor, it’ll be cap stable
why are you not trying to get the extraction pods?

To be fair, you could probably afk the Gila you are using right here in a t1 electrical site
As long as you approach gate and launch drones, yeah! XD
T1-T2 afk no problem....Autotargeting missles cerberus active tank....... push fire button go afk go back room clear .... you can do that in bulk on several accounts...
seems very stressful maybe incursion is better for easy isk?
Yeah I’d definitely say that Abyssal sites can be intense, they require a bit more input and what not. I’ve actually never done incursions though!

I run one side with only ONE GATE oO and maybe 15 Battleship or more ... But
the gate are not loked Oo. I can decide kill or Panic and run to the gate.
See that first time. A abyss with only one gate and free out.

472 472 yes I actually do have that! In one of my videos I’m in an Iki and I get the rare site twice in a row, the first one I complete the second one I run!

why do you have armor paste in the Gila? you are using a shield tank.
Ryan Irish paste is used for repairing modules! So when you overhear stuff is builds up damage, and you can use that paste to repair the damage. I do quite a bit of overheating in fights, and once I build up enough heat I gotta disengage and get to a safe place to repair my stuff.
sorry bro and im subbed to you on twitch xD but your telling players to spend billion and billions of isk and your kinda using my favorite streamers fit he created the dual battery and thermal but billions in apod and billions on a ship is not needed you can run every t4 and every t5 site beside darks with one fit no implants basic boosters i have learned this from another and done it myself one after another testing it
DO NOT BELIEVE YOU NEED TO SPEND BILLION TO BE ABLE TO ABYSS - do not be one of those players that say if i cant drive straight and push rep it cant be done the abyss is easy truly

I'm definitely not telling anyone to do anything! I'm simply showing them what they can do and how they can do it, you do not have to do exactly what I do lol. The fit I'm using was made by Fonsui, you can check all of his fits here: www.eveworkbench.com/u/fonsui. All of these fits are similar so I won't give in to the whole "this person created this fit" crap because no one knows who pioneered it, and frankly it doesn't matter! Check out Eve_TC on Twitch, he does this stuff with a cheap Vagabond (344M ISK) no problem, so there are definitely many different ways to do this. There's definitely easy ways and hard ways to do the abyss, so many different variations and whatever works, works :)
Totaly true. You can choose if you go the safe route and spend a little bit more isk you get that coin back in your healthinsurance because you can keep your bloodpressure low.
But for real, i checked your guide out because i fly t4s in a gila bling fit and i think i am ready to take on those t5. Thanks man
